A slight diversion

My advice is that in the long run, most people will recall how good or bad the food was, so make certain that the food is yummy and not only amazing. What do you really do to favors?

Photography and food were most important to us both. We desired photographs that could endure for a lifetime and food which everybody would recall instead of being elaborate and pricey. Chris proposed to me “our shore” in Crystal Cove where he lined the walkway along with my favourite flowers (sunflowers) and proposed to a cliff overlooking the sea. The best surprise is that he had both of those families to oversee the proposal in which they had been standing touching and cheering from above.

My vision for our wedding was a classic, classic and garden motif. I am a large fan of neutrals and adored how crisp gray, white, and gold all seemed together with traces of greenery. Additional bonus our marriage was held at a beautiful garden so all our decoration popped with the surroundings. My favourite part of the day was getting ready with my girlfriends and my very first appearance together with my now husband. The initial look was something we enjoyed doing but it was my favourite time which was put aside that has been special to the two people.

Our wedding cake was red velvet which is collectively our favorite cake taste and was just dressed in all white buttercream. It had been lined with fresh flowers and topped with all our favorite stating”all things”. My spouse and I decided our bridesmaids and groomsmen had the freedom to use what they wanted and what made them feel most themselves but also searching pulled together. The guys kept it classic in white button downs and black slacks and my bridesmaids chose a shade of grey they enjoyed best at a dress fashion they felt them.

“If you are spending for your wedding, my personal advice is to start saving your money once your are engaged. Everything flies by so quickly that you think that might have all this time, however you don’t!

A few words out of bride Tricia…. “We have always been older souls. I wanted to reveal that by integrating many vintage pieces during the already beautiful historical venue. Each one the candelabras, vases, and picture frames for the table numbers were found in antique stores. Our guest book was not a novel at all but instead old postcards from across the US. We found an old mailbox at Midland in Indianapolis where guests can deposit the postcards. Amy

“Sharing our Efforts was a highlight of all ours. We’d written our own vows and worked on them up until the final minute. We have experienced the feelings for each other for the previous ten years and eventually being able to communicate them to another had been something we actually will never forget. It meant so much to have everybody we loved celebrate our big day , it had been interesting to let loose on the dance floor! ” “The wedding celebration sported out favorite colours. My bridesmaids in dark green and also the groomsmen with rust orange twists. An odd pairing however we were able to make it all together with all the green pocket squares and boutonnieres. ” Her classic style is exactly what I wanted for our big moment. Not only did she somehow make the rain appear desired, but she was that dedicated to capturing the photographs she was out there with us in it! “Our favors are a box of our favorite items from Trader Joe’s, dark chocolate coated almonds & espresso beans! We also hand created name plates for assigned chairs. The title plates were assembled with green paper, clear overlay and also a copper wax seal. I had handwritten each name on every name plate within my “finest ” calligraphy. “

To keep current I wanted to wed vintage with bohemian. To achieve this my palette was a combination between muted romantic and earthy colors. Small details such as my macarame table and mismatched coloured vases with wildflowers were inserted to make a the bohemian flair. I believe we achieved the perfect balance. ” My other bit of advice would be to postpone your own honeymoon. Planning the marriage is difficult enough so including the honeymoon in addition to that is nothing but stress. We postponed and now have enough time and energy to start saving and planning to our fantasy honeymoon to Ireland! ” THE CAKE
