What? No I can’t hear you sorry I’m gonna do my introduction now. Hey how’s it goin? My name is Hachi and in Japanese, that means 8. I’m the number 8. If you turn it sideways you get an infinity sign and that’s kind of what I stand for. I’m a little like Quin or (5) as you guys might have already known in the fact that I like to read as well. Furthermore I think I’m the most chill out of our entire house. I’m also the “brainy one” like Six says or the “nerd one” like Deka says If you wanna be a butthole. It just means I know a lot.

Hmm am I forgetting anything else,,,oh right. My element would be that of the earth and my colors are shades of green. I think that’s about it though so I’ll see you guys around. Later.

AHA! Finally. Okay wassup guys my name is Deka and in Greek that means 10. I’m what you would call a “tomboy”. Six said I needed to dress my best for the introductions so I put on my best pair of pants and somehow,,,I still got the disapproved look. Whatever tho I don’t really care for the rules. My siblings say I’m a hot head and I lose my temper easily but I just think that’s another way for saying I’m passionate. I love the color red as you can see, and I’m always itching for a fight. Especially since Thing 1 and Thing 2 like to mess with me any chance they get.

My element is Fire. It’s a curse more than a blessing but eh, what can you do right? I’ll see you guys around maybe we can host a boxing match or play fire ball. Anyway, lates!

O-M-G this is so EXCITING!! Hello!! My name is Six and I am the other half of the “things” ya know like thing 1 and thing 2?? Yeah I’m “Thing 2” hehe. I love love L O V E all shades of pink Incase you couldn’t tell and I pulled out my prettiest, girliest, fanciest outfit for todays introductions. I’m excited all the time about everything and I’m so excited to be apart of this!! Sharing our world with you guys!! Isn’t this great!! Ugh, it’s fantastic. anyway as Q said, I’ll see you guys around.

Oh oh I almost forgot!! My element is water and sometimes Q and I like to pull pranks on the others👀. By looking at us you’d think we’re innocent right? Oh I forgot to mention I talk a lot so I need to be told to be quiet sometimes😅. Deka is scary when it’s tranquil hours and I disturb the whole house lol. I don’t really—oh I need to stop now? Hi. I’m Quinque but my siblings call me Q. In Latin, that means 5. Im one of the “things” as Deka and Hachi say. I’m not much of a talker and I like my silence and being alone. I also like reading and philosophy and you can find me with my face in a book when I’m not pulling pranks on the others. My colors are shades of purple and my element is air. I also inherit telekinesis and I use it to mess with deka sometimes. Haha,,I think that’s about it so…yeah. See ya.

2:11 a.m

I am so sleepy. I barely ate all day. I feel...disconnected once again, I struggle with this feeling. 

It’s been a few months that this feeling of disconnection has been present in my life. I feel as if I am just on autopilot all the time now, only having moments of a breakthrough where I feel that I am in my body. I am watching myself through the lenses of a camera. I am merely observing. I am the member, no longer the host. Just here for the ride.

I lost all urges to fight, to gather myself. To regain back my sense of control. It feels as if I have lost the battle to the demon who takes my form. And she is now pressing all the buttons, making all the decisions. Every day, I have to pretend that I do not feel like this, and it is nice to forget about things when you’re actually having a good time. But that’s not the problem.

The problem is when the good time is over. When I come back down to earth, when I am alone. That is when I am aware that I am here...but not here. 

I didn’t think I’d ever lose a battle with myself, but yet here I am. Up at 2 a.m and wondering when I’ll have the strength to actually fight for my spot back. Until then, I’ll remain here but not present.
