Playing Mario Kart With Their S/o (Parts 1-4)

Warning(s): Mentions of alcohol.

Author’s Note: I thought this was a cute concept, if not a little ridiculous. I didn’t take it very seriously & honestly neither should you. Just mindless fun. I main as Cat Peach in Mario Kart btw :3

Jonathan: Mains as Shy Guy. He’s a really bad player. You swear you tried teaching him the controls & he did make an effort to learn. He’s just not very good, but really fun to play with if you’re looking for a more relaxed playing experience. He always cheers you on sweetly when you win.

Dio Brando: Mains as Dry Bowser. Honestly how did you convince him to play? Complains the entire time, that is, until he beats you. A switch flips in his head, showing you his more smug & competitive side. Once he’s had the taste of victory, he’s always going to want to play. With practice, he gets pretty good too. Honestly can make Jonathan cry when they play, doesn’t matter if they’re adults.

Speedwagon: Mains as Luigi or Toad. He loves to play this with you while drinking. He’s an alright player; unfortunately not good enough to play against people online. If you’re not that great of a player either he might purposely let you win because he thinks you look so cute getting all excited & joyous after winning.

Erina: Mains as Isabelle. Like Jonathan, she’s not all that good at it. She’s very pure & finds everything about the game cute, always getting excited to play with you. She’ll giggle & gets super giddy if she manages to beat you. Her favorite track is rainbow road simply because she thinks it’s pretty.

Joseph: Mains as Waluigi or King Boo. Very competitive & a very bad player. He can get so comedically upset if he loses to people online too. Playing with him always guarantees a whole lot of belly laughs, especially if you’re drinking while playing. If he loses to Caesar & he dares to so much as lightly teases him about it, Joseph will rage quit.

Caesar: Mains as Link. Not all that into it. Video games aren’t really his thing. He’ll play for you, though, & will let you win like Speedwagon. He’s surprisingly really good at the game without even trying (It pisses Joseph off to no end). Honestly it’s a little intimidating to play with him despite him not being all that competitive.

Suzi Q: Mains as Daisy or Donkey Kong. A literal god at Mario Kart. She’s an amazing player & she knows it. She plays it all the time & loves to piss people off when playing online. If you’re ahead of her, she sometimes likes to tickle you or kiss your cheek in order to throw you off in order to pass you. A very cheeky player.

Jotaro: Mains as Mario. Oh, he’s absolutely hopeless. Don’t tease him about it, though, he’s internally really embarrassed about it. Constantly getting his ass kicked by you & the other crusaders is a little humbling. In private he’ll build up the nerve to ask you to teach him how to get better. Please don’t tell the others he asked, his mind might malfunction.

Kakyoin: Doesn’t have a specific main; he likes to play as everyone. He’s a really good player but won’t so directly boast about it like Suzi Q. He will have a shit-eating grin on his face most of the time playing. He’s in his element please let him have this. If you’re not that good of a player he'll be more than happy to help you out, he finds it cute.

Polnareff: Mains as Toad. He’s an okay player. When it’s just the two of you playing, he’s very laid back & silly. When it’s the crusaders, he can get pretty competitive. He’s still not too serious & is always teasing everyone about their playing. Got super pissed off the one time Iggy purposely jumped on his face in order to keep him from winning.

Avdol: Mains as anyone; he doesn’t really care who he plays as. It was his idea to have Iggy jump on Polnareff’s face. A pretty laid back player but he’s pretty good. He’ll give Jotaro some amused yet genuine words of encouragement, knowing full well that the teenager’s insecure about his playing. Don’t get on Avdol’s ass & mess him up too much, he’s great at coming up with revenge plans.

Josuke: Mains as Tanooki Mario or Cat Peach. He’s so goofy & playful while playing that you almost forget he’s really good at Mario Kart. Whether or not you’re playing with him, he has to have you sat down on the floor with him. If he’s feeling especially affectionate, he’ll have you sit between his legs & rest your back on his chest with his arms wrapped around you. He’ll even place his chin on the top of your head. The two of you have stayed in this position for hours on end.

Okuyasu: Mains as King Boo or Donkey Kong. For a while he was pretty bad at the game, slowly but steadily getting better as time has gone on. An opponent like Josuke (As well as you, if you’re a good player as well) forced him to get good at it. He can get competitive but usually tries to keep himself relaxed since he yells a lot otherwise.

Rohan: Mains as Rosalina. He won’t play with you unless you promise to do something for him in return. Rohan’s not at all interested & would rather spend time with you doing just about anything else. After hearing Josuke likes to play it, you often find him playing on his own during his free time. He swears he’s going to beat Josuke one day. It’s petty but cute to see Rohan, of all people, seriously playing Mario Kart.

Yukako: Mains as Pink Gold Peach or either of the inklings. She actually really loves to play! She initially gave it a shot purely because you suggested she give it a try. She was stubborn to admit it at first, but she soon became obsessed with it. All hell breaks loose when she plays with Josuke; the two get very competitive when playing against one another. The only person she doesn’t mind losing to his you.

Mikitaka: Mains as Cat Peach or either of the villagers. He finds it endearing & cute. He’s very eager to play every time you bring it up, going on about how interesting humans are. He’s really bad at it & always places last, since he’s driving backwards & off the track all the time. He doesn’t mind, though. No one ever wants to play with him because it can be pretty time consuming. He gets a little sad at first but will eventually be fine with simply watching them play nonetheless.
