I've always wanted to produce hardstyle, but the level of skill required in sound design to produce hardstyle is formidable, and beyond my capabilities. Nonetheless, I wanted to try.
I'll try to construct my next track better. I didn't plan ahead for this one.
Every sound in this track I made from scratch, with exception to a few percussion samples (snare, ride cymbal, and clap, if I recall).

I should start posting music stuff on this account again - recently I've just been posting it all on my personal blog.
Last night, I made a few hardcore kicks.  The second one was kind lame, so I worked on it a bit and made it better, which you can hear above.  I also stuck the melody that was accompanying the third kick in with this kick so that the playing sample could be longer.
ENJOY

Utada Hikaru - Simple and Clean (DJ Denshi remix) (Instrumental)
Instrumental version (no vocals) of my happy hardcore remix of Simple and Clean by Utada Hikaru.
I admit, even if it’s still amateur level stuff (and I’m still struggling to attain that happy hardcore feel in my tracks), I really like how it came out.  I hope I can continue to get better.
Anyway, free download~ Enjoy! :D

Finished my remix of Simple and Clean by Utada Hikaru.  Wish the source for the vocals had been better (low quality recording, tempo all over the place, pitchy ..), but meh!

I finished a new happy hardcore track.  Free download~!
DJ Denshi - Big Bang
For now, I'll be taking a bit of a break from producing in general.  I have 2nd term at college starting up in early January, and I want to attend to my other hobbies more until then, like playing piano.
I love the support - which means all you followers.  You guys are awesome!

Awesoooooome~
Sorry I haven't posted much recently, the holidays have been keeping me busy.  Family over hobbies; you know how it is.
I'll post some stuff before too long, but in the meantime, here's a free to download UK Hardcore track by DeeJay Unleashed that's pretty sweet: http://soundcloud.com/deejay-unleashed/xtasea-super-hero-x-fir3

Most recent export of the track I'm working on.  The main reason I'm putting this up atm, though, is so I can show it to my brother :V

Current progress on new track.  I started adding effects, experimenting a little here and there.
I faded it out there because I'm still developing that section.

I've spent a lot of my time today working on music, but almost all of the rest cleaning the house because my step-Uncle is coming to stay for the holidays.
Anyway, here's the intro of a track started today.  Sticking with happy hardcore for now, I want to get better at producing it.

Finished the happy hardcore track You Do. Free to download. Woo~!
In this track, I experimented a little: 03:04 - 04:36 is very much like dubstep in the bassline and percussive rhythm.

jtareno answered your question: There’s this section in a track I’m aiming to...
drops are usually around 40 seconds?
This doesn't really concern the "fullness" as it were, but regardless: this sound snippet is from a fair way into the track.  I cut out the rest and faded it in so that the only part you would hear is the part I was referring to in the post.
Easy mistake to make, though.

There's this section in a track I'm aiming to sound similar to dubstep. My brother says it doesn't sound full enough, especially the 8 bars of bass wobbles. Because I never normally produce dubstep, I don't know what "fuller" necessarily entails. Does it need more of a certain percussive instrument? Is the bass not "thick" enough..?
I'm searching for suggestions.  Dear fans of dubstep: wat do?

It's late, so I'll post this now since I probably won't be making any more progress on it tonight.
This is the happy hardcore track I dedicated today toward progressing.  I haven't finished it yet, which is fairly obvious upon listening to it.
Notes: * At 2:30 is a short dubstep-esque segment that I'm adding because .. well .. I can :V.  I wanted some cool bass stuff in there.
* The segment between 1:57 - 2:20 will be at least doubled in length because it's far too short atm.
