honestly love being in the marauders fandom, there are so many talented creators, especially fic writers. like i read popular fics from another fandom, and it just does not hit as hard as the masterpieces yall create over here. other ppl are getting emotional over stuff, and i don’t even bat an eye bc of the absolute tragedies the marauders have put me thru.
Evan Rosier is the type you randomly find next or behind you, appearing seemingly from nowhere, that every single time gives you the scare of your life.
Sirius, Peter and Mary (+ half of the school) even had a theory he was not real but only a hunted doll and they were actively trying to gather proves.
We know the Beifong family is one of the most powerful families in the Earth Kingdom. But I love how it was more solidified in the Kyoshi novels, reading how much influence a Beifong had in Kyoshi’s era, though for not the best reasons.
I love details like these that expands the Avatar Universe and shows how much times have changed since then. The Beifongs went from looming prominent figures in Kyoshi’s time to becoming friends and companions fighting for 2 of her reincarnations. I think that’s just so cool and beautiful.
moonseeker romantic or platonic, but do remember i see them as romantic so my intent is romantic.
It was a few hours before Pomfrey arrived to the shrieking shack, Remus was on the floor breathing heavily from the pain of just transitioning back. It was cold, yes his body creates more heat than the average person, but it’s always cold after a transforming back into himself, feeling ashamed of what he goes through every month. What he has to go through.
He doesn’t get up he’s too tired and in pain to, but the shame is also a prime reason, he doesn’t deserve the warmth, not yet.
It’s not until he hears shuffling from behind him and he turns around slowly, but does it nonetheless. To Remus surprise he sees a cat staring at him, a black cat he figures once the cat steps into the dim moonlight.
The cat meows and before he can even register anything the cat turns into a boy. Not just any boy, no, Remus could never mistake the boy in front of him. His black curly hair, sharp cheekbones that look like they could cut glass. The boy he stares at when he really shouldn’t, but does anyways.
“How did you-“
“Never mind that, I’ll answer your questions later, I’m here for you.”
Remus can’t believe what he’s hearing and what he saw it has to be the delirium right?
He gets the answer as Regulus takes the blanket in the corner and wraps it around him gently careful not to hurt the new marks on himself that will scar. It dawns on him that he’s naked and Regulus Black just saw his bits and didn’t even blink an eye.
His brain basically short circuits once Regulus doesn’t use magic, but uses his hands to pick him up, with gentle firmness to set him on the cot. This is a dream right? Remus has to be dreaming.
“I can’t fix the pain or any of your wounds because Madam Pomfrey will have questions, but I can sit here with you until I have to go.” His voice is quiet and soothing.
Remus can only nod as the boy casts a diagnostic charm on him to see the damage he did on himself. He fights to squirm the shame creeping up again.
“This isn’t your fault you know.”
“What?” Remus finally speaks.
“You didn’t ask for this… what happens to you is merely just another shitty thing life puts you through, but it isn’t on you.”
“Isn’t it? They have to lock me up, and if this place wasn’t spelled I would be tearing people apart.”
Regulus process his words thoughtfully.
“Doesn’t that scare you?” He regrets asking as soon as it leaves his mouth.
“No.”
Regulus is actually telling the truth.
“Why?”
“You don’t have control Remus. You aren’t Remus when you’re like that, you’re an animal. Doing its nature. That doesn’t make the werewolf or you a the bad guy.”
A cold shiver goes through his spine realizing he called Remus by his first name.
“How did you know?”
“I’m watchful.”
“You watch me?”
“You’re telling me you don’t watch me?” His brow raises in a challenge with a ghost of a smirk.
“You got me a charm?” James whispers, cradling the box between his palms. Regulus nods.
James removes the lid from the box as if opening a case enclosing a precious jewel. Red tissue paper is taken apart by steady fingers to reveal a golden Leo constellation with stars of white diamond. It gleams in the starlight, with the Regulus star particularly bright due to its enhanced design.
James releases a soft, “Oh,” and picks it up with care, turning it over at eye level.
“Regulus, this is…”
Too much? Too soon? Too expensive?
“...beautiful. It’s beautiful.” James sets the charm back down in its box, patting it for good measure, and takes off his charm bracelet. “Would you help me put it on?”
