Wine tours are lots of fun; and luckily you’re given the option to still join the tour if you’re underage like one of us! However, just make sure not to drink the wine if you are a minor! For those of us who can legally drink, you were able to sample some lovely glasses, while being shown how it is made. These wine tours are something that would be worth your while if you are big on wine or would like the idea of expanding your palette! It is also a fantastic spot for a date! As you can tell, Donald and Daisy snuck away for a date of their own!

Jackson-Triggs Niagara Winery Estate: It’s Grape!

The Jackson-Triggs Winery Estate in Niagara-on-the-Lake is a must-see breathtaking attraction to go to when in Niagara; whether you're a local looking for a relaxing day around the vineyards, or an excited tourist busy seeing all of what Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake has to offer. At the Jackson-Triggs  Winery Estate, you have the opportunity to partake in public in-depth tours of the winery, that cost $10 CAD per person. Public tours are based on a first-come-first-served basis, so when going on a tour be sure to call ahead to book your tour. A couple  of the  different private group tour options are:  the Jackson-Triggs Private Tasting  for $10 CAD per person, with a minimum of 10 guests is 30-40 minute tour which includes tasting of three premium VQA wines and one of their Icewines, the Jackson-Triggs Essential Tour for $15 CAD per person minimum of 10 guests is an hour-long tour that educates you on how wine is crafted in their state-of-the-art winery, with a tour of their Barrel Cellar and four tastings of Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate VQA wines. The drive to the Jackson-Triggs Winery Estate is gorgeous in itself, but when you arrive at the winery, you are greeted by breathtaking views of a  meticulously landscaped vineyard; that holds three varieties of grapes, which include: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Riesling. As you walk inside the winery you are welcomed by the strong smell of wine and the beautiful views of the sun beaming through huge windows that look out onto more vineyards. Our tour guide was very happy to offer us our first tasting of wine, which happened to be the Jackson-Triggs Grand Reserve ENTOURAGE Sparkling Brut, which was crisp and refreshing. After the tasting, our tour guide brings us outside and educates us about the grapes and how the grapes have been grafted in France with French grapes for flavour, and the roots of the grapes come from Canadian grapes because they can withstand the cold. As the tour continues, our guide shows us the ins and outs to winemaking and points out that at the Jackson-Triggs Winery Estate they use gravity-flow when making their wines, because it makes for a better-flavoured wine and it saves time and energy. Lastly, we are taken to the Barrel Cellar, where we are shown how they freeze bottles of wine upside down to remove the remaining bits of particles and cloudiness from wine, and they also point out how the cork from a sparkling bottle of wine is different from non-sparkling because of the pressure in the bottle The best moment of the Jackson-Triggs Winery Estate tour was when we were taken to the Barrel Cellar and you get to see all of these barrels of wine sitting in this dimly lit room that smells fragrantly of wooden barrels and wine and is dripping with ambiance and class. In the Barrel Cellar, we get to try one of Jackson-Triggs world-renowned Icewines, which happened to be the Jackson-Triggs Grand Reserve Cabernet Franc Icewine and had notes of strawberry rhubarb. We would definitely recommend visiting the Jackson-Triggs Winery Estate in Niagara-on-the-Lake; it is a relaxed, classy, and educational tour to go on. This would be the perfect trip for couples, groups of friends, anniversaries, proposals, and birthdays. Another great thing about Jackson-Triggs Winery Estate in Niagara-on-the-Lake is that the winery is open daily, all year round, except Christmas Day; so whenever you have the urge to adventure through some vineyards and try some delicious wines you can!

The Falls: A Wonder Not to be Missed!

The falls itself is not just water flowing, it’s the most marvellous piece of attraction in Canada. It always seems to rank as one of Canada’s top tourist destinations, everyone around the world comes to see the falls.

It’s also known as one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Any kind of traveller may experience the falls because it’s just that amazing.  It Does not matter what each traveller likes, because experiencing the falls is what every traveller can do.

To view the falls it’s free of cost, so you can take in the beauty of the falls for as long as you would like.

All you can hear is the water flowing and tourists are enjoying their time at this mesmerizing attraction!

The best part of the falls is just the experience you get while you’re standing near the falls, that’s known to be the most amazing experience ever!

I recommend this attraction to everyone, because going to the falls is a whole new experience. It does not matter how many times you have been there, you will always feel like going again.

But also tourists that also like a lot of adventure would love to go as well. This is because while experiencing the wonders of the falls, there are many activities involved which all the tourist can experience.

The Niagara Sky Wheel: Round and Round!

    The Niagara Skywheel is not only a popular tourist attraction in Niagara Falls, ON, but has become a part of the iconic skyline with the American Falls, the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and Clifton Hill. On the Skywheel you can see tourists of all ages and of all social classes, however the attraction itself is geared and targetted towards families and couples.

    The pricing of the captivating 10-minute ride on the Skywheel costs $11.99+tax per adult. However, being right in the middle of Clifton Hill, the Skywheel has partnered up with other local tourist attractions to offer a 6-pack FunPass costing $29.99+tax per adult for entrance into 6 different attractions on the strip, including the Niagara Skywheel (with a free 2nd ride of the Skywheel if purchased online).

    The Skywheel itself gives a unique experience and view of the Niagara Area. Being a passenger, you get to go around multiple times in a cozy gondola. Each gondola can comfortably seat 6 adults, which makes it great for groups and families. These gondolas have 360⁰ windows which give impressive views and a great opportunity to take amazing photos of the surrounding area including Clifton Hill and the famous Horseshoe Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

    If you’re lucky and in the right gondola, the best part of the Niagara Skywheel is when you're stopped at the top of the Farris Wheel for a minute to take in the beauty, impressiveness, and extraordinary views of the natural environment and touristy surroundings.

    We would recommend this attraction to tourists ranging from across the world to the local tourists. It is a one-of-a-kind experience and a one-of-a-kind view from the top. This attraction is a must-do for any visitors, especially if it is their first time.

Thankfully there is a “magic shop” where you can purchase souvenirs from pins to tiger stuffed animals, so yourself or children can leave with something to remember from the show! We had to pull Donald and Sully away from all the tempting gifts!!

Marvel in the Magic of the Greg Frewin Magic Show!

               The most magical and memorable event in Niagara Falls, Ontario is certainly hosted here at The Greg Frewin Magic Show! Located ever so conveniently beyond Clifton Hill, makes it easier than ever to enjoy this marvelous attraction.

               Upon arrival, spectators are greeted by super friendly staff and a beautifully clean facility, leaving one eager to be ushered into the theatre. Once inside you cannot help but notice how accessible the area is and how delightfully comfortable the seating is for all. As anticipation builds the theatre does a fantastic job of keeping the crowd raring to go by playing a variety of upbeat music suitable for all ages! It truly is a great time, but it gets even better as the show begins.

               At our show, we were treated to the amazing David Da Vinci- Thrillusionist. If the stunning costumes alone were not enough to impress, not to worry because that was only the beginning. Throughout the show, you can expect to be absolutely blown away by the power of magic as Mr. Da Vinci performs incredible tricks such as turning a cloth into a live dove, turning one dove into two, making three beautiful assistants appear from thin air, separating heads from their bodies, and disappearing and reappearing in a completely different place! ASTONISHING!

               The show is also made to be interactive and relies on crowd involvement, which certainly adds to the already amazing experience to be had as a spectator at this magic show! Just be careful what you volunteer for though, because you never know when a live, ginormous tiger will appear to steal the show! This aspect of the impressive spectacle might just be the best part because its so unique! Where else will you see a magical tiger in NiagaraFalls?! With all of these impressive components, it certainly is a must do when in Niagara Falls!

               Many tickets are available for this great attraction and range in price from $20.00 - $410.00! Those with a higher price tag include a secluded table in order to enhance your experience. The show also offers an option to purchase dinner as well, to make that night out with family and friends even more convenient. These range from $24.95 for children to $32.95 for adults.  

               This is an attraction that should be recommend to all from local, all the way to foreign tourists! It is such a spectacle that evokes such a great feeling of wonder for all! It truly is a cannot miss opportunity in Niagara Falls!

Niagara Falls Familiarization Trip: Disney Style!

These Disney lovers are off to Niagara Falls with an Itinerary full of events for the day! There was much to learn about, but as we became more familiar with the things, we had no fear! Our beautiful province of Ontario certainly has struck a gold mine with Niagara Falls!
