Pumpkinduo headcanons

The first thing that comes to mind is the Schlatt's tail. For sheep, their tail is a kind of alarm button. If something touches him, it means that something came up from behind quite imperceptibly, which means it is most likely a predator. So the lamb is going to die now. Touching the tail also causes fear in Schlatt, because he is a faun - a hybrid of a sheep.

However, Quackity is an exception. He is the only one to whom Schlatt can entrust such a weakness. Alex's touches do not cause fear, rather on the contrary - calmness and pleasure. Quackity is the only person Schlatt can trust even at the level of his instincts. This speaks volumes...

I just remembered that I wanted to share a small idea regarding pumpkinduo and the ending of the 1 season of DSMP.

My idea was that...the nuke basically couldn't affect the Limbo. Since Linbo isnt in the world of the living, it's a place in between, which means that everyone who is in Limbo, still has their memories.

So I was just thinking, what if someone would find the revival book and bring back Schlatt? Nobody remembers him but he remembers everyone and everything. The man would just be confused on why nobody remembers him and most importantly....why Quackity doesn't remember him.

From there it could go in different directions but since I want some fluff instead of pain, I was thinking about Schlatt trying to win Quackity back over. He had basically 60-80 years to think about all of what he has done. He knows which mistakes he did and he wont let them happen again...

@nnutpaw asked if I could do some general Revived! Schlatt Headcanons and...I actually could give some, since I thought about that fella for a long time and actually had even a small AU planned. Maybe I will tell about it some other day.

Revived JSchlatt Headcanons

•He is touch starved but numb to physical contact because he has been for way too long in the Limbo.

•Which also means that he is numb for pain. Which is a benefit in terms of his chronical pain, which he wouldnt feel anymore but also a big disadvantage in case he gets hurt.

•This leads to Quackity always checking on him, when he gets back home because Schlatt wouldnt notice if something cut him or got stuck in his body.

•His feelings and emotions are also pretty bland.

•Revived Schlatt would actually follow Quackity around. Mostly because he was the one who revived him but also because he believes that he has nowhere else to go.

•He doesnt understand why he has been brought back. Since he died with the impression that everyone hates him.

•The ram often stays non-verbal, if not asked a question.

•Is not really affected by alcohol anymore but he still drinks it in hopes of feeling something again.

•Since he doesnt feel too much physical contact and has bland emotions, if something does catch his attention, he gets attached to it. Starting to actually have an interest in origami.

•This leads to him having an origami duckling...which he starts carrying around everywhere. Not letting anyone touch it, even Quackity.

•The duck hybrid is slightly annoyed by that attitude but let's Schlatt have this piece of privacy because it's the first time that he sees the ram actually smile because of something.

•If Las Nevadas is still around, Schlatt would be a good dealer. Having experience in card games.

☆quackity and schlatt are very touchy with eachother (not more of in a weird way) but their affectionate always holding hands, schlatt playing with quackity's wings,quackity ruffling schlatts hair they even were like this at work one time someone complained and schlatt went off on them saying he's the big boss "the president" and they can be fired if they hate it

☆ schlatt always smells like pine, cologne, and expensive liquor

☆ whenever schlatt and quackity would get breaks during work they'd sneak into schlatt's balcony on his office and smoke cigarettes together talking about random shit

☆quackity can play acoustic guitar and he'd sing songs to schlatt in sapnish

☆SCHLATT frequently likes to joke about quackity having "flatty patty" but quackity actually has some dumpy [I'm right becuase I kin him] and schlatt is always frequently grabbing or (at least ) getting one slap in and quackity thinks it's the stupidest thing ever but finds schlatt endearing [also don't make this weird alr this wasn't supposed to be nsfw hc-clay]

☆out of qauckity and schlatt quackity always gets the most stressed with paper work so during the whole presidential arc schlatt would do work for quackity sometimes

☆ Schlatt is BIG on pet names / nicknames always calling quackity them especially when drunk or tipsy some of them include doll,sweetheart,honey,ducky,sugar,sugar spice,

☆quackity started baby sitting tubbo for schlatt before they were together and seeing quackity be so happy /sweet fatherly to tubbo made schlatt wanna sob in a /vpos-> [very positive] way

This is mostly a joke post since it's just something that came to my head.

Just Schlatt being incredibly stubborn and being very spiteful. Whenever he would do something, 90% chance he did it out of spite.

Competing during the election? Spite towards Dream for banning him at first.

Exiling Wilbur and Tommy? Schlatt is still spiteful after Wilbur destroyed his house during the water rise challenge.

Quackity knows that the man is spiteful and he uses it to his advantage. When Schlatt is starting to behave more and more intolerable during their relationship...Q just throws a mindless "You couldnt make this work even if you tried!".

That's enough. Schlatt literally changes the whole pattern of behavior towards Quackity, flowers, kisses, sweet talk.

Schlatt acts like the best possible husband on the DSMP out of pure spite.

Oughhh yes. Q always walking slower to keep pace with Schlatt, or sprinting to talk to people and keep them occupied for the time it takes Schlatt to get around. He had a muscular disability after all, and Q’s absolutely willing to wait to make it seem “casual” that they take their time, together!

All of this. Schlackity just being soft with one another, like making sure the other is safe and comfortable in any way that they can. Especially with Q doing stuff subtly, not wanting to draw attention to what he's actually doing.
