I often think about the damage that characters experience. Gordon wore the hev suit for so long, and lost an arm, plus gunshots and knife wounds. Benrey is a strange and unknown creature. They experimented on him, and he ripped at himself in distress. They had to give Bubby is neural implants, make sure his brain was perfect, inject it with knowledge For 15 years. They kept plugged in to his goddamn tube. Coomer barely has any of his original limbs left, replaced mostly with machinery.
#YOU GET IT AOUGH#being in the HEV suit for THAT LONG would have so many lasting consequences for Gordon that it's nuts#not just that it dug into him but also that it would have made it hard to lay down and especially sleep;#it would have gotten sweaty and dirty which can lead to skin irritation and complications;#his bones- specifically his spine- suffered a lot of strain and there is a chance he's gonna have complications in the future#not to mention the long falls and the damage that would have done to his knees#i think about gordon's scars a lot fgdhsjk
