romantic / general headcanons for xie bi’an [ wu chang - white guard ]

[ romantic ]

- xie is quite nice and gentle! he would be pretty supportive of you however you look and would comfort you on any issues you would have with yourself or others.

- for pet names, he would call you dear!

- xie would go friendly for your team, and the others not. he does have a job to do as a hunter, after all. but, xie would make sure you get the dungeon or exit gate if it’s open, if you’re the last survivor remaining. other times when he does chair you, he’ll apologize a lot.

- after any matches w/ him, he goes to immediately check on you and feels pretty guilty if you took any actual bad wounds that landed you at emily’s. xie would be cuddling you a lot whenever he gets the chance to make it up to you, all the while whispering soft compliments.

- he does enjoy taking walks and picnics outside w/ you! just... please make sure there isn’t a forecast for rain or it is currently raining.

- xie would get just a little jealous if anyone flirted with you, acting kinda more distant or absent minded. but he does want you to be happy, even if it’s not with him. although this will cause him to be more self conscious, so please reassure him.

( bonus ; fan gives you the shovel talk one day when you and xie begin to become more serious. it’s quite short, and he does trust you since sue trusts you, but fan can and will go to drastic measures if you try anything to harm him in any way. xie assures you later to not worry about any of fan’s threats. fan swears that he didn’t mean to make it sound that bad. )

[ general ]

- whenever it does rain, xie just has some really long pauses looking out the window, suddenly feeling a familiar cold hit him.

- xie just in general doesn’t like anything that has to do with mass amounts of water / bodies of water. fish, oceans, you name it. he did try to take care of a pet goldfish at some point, but gave it off to mary and robbie after a while.

- he joins in on joseph’s and mary’s tea parties sometimes, chatting about his matches or day.

- robbie slightly disturbs him. not that he has any issues with him personally since he takes care of him whenever mary is too busy, but the sight of the rope tying around his neck seemingly being the only thing keeping his head together bothers him. it’s unnerving, and makes him tug at his neck sometimes instinctively, even if there’s nothing there.

- aside from that, xie has gotten into the habit of poetry! mary helps him if he’s stuck, or fan will give a word of advice from the umbrella.

I will not be doing ; nsfw ( minor and it generally makes me uncomfy ) things such as depression or autism ( I don’t want to accidentally write it incorrectly seeing as those type of stuff are serious ), character ships ( maybe someday but I can do friendships ), y.ndere headcanons, in.st, p.doph.lia, extreme gore ( small things like accidental scratches or cuts are fine )

I can do ; fluff, angst, platonic or romantic, stuff like that, and gendered or gn readers

my limit is up to 2 characters per ask but you can always ask for more headcanons in a different one ( also if you do request two characters tell me if they’re all together or separate )
