in simple terms: she’s lee eunjin. aka robin. aka a dhampir. aka the abomination that is a human AND a vampire.. GROSS!

she’s only a baby she’s 23 years old 

dhampirs are frowned upon so when her human mum was pregnant her vampire dad was like “aight i’ma head out or else my family with kill me too oh yeah you’re gonna get killed lol”

so eunjin’s mama gives birth then shortly after is killed by her dad’s family and his family highkey just assumed the baby aka eunjin died during birth because it happens a lot but instead eunjin’s mother was smart and sent her newborn baby to an orphanage

*insert growing up in an orphanage montage here*

baby eunjin just wanted a family but human families would come in and meet her and be like STINKY aka they could sense something was off and that something was that eunjin wasn’t 100% human but eunjin didn’t know that and just thought that being herself was unlovable :(( 

so then she started coming up with different personalities and moulding herself to fit these prospective families that would come and meet her but no one adopted her :((

she turns eighteen and gets out cause she’s an adult but now she’s an adult her vampire abilities all come rushing in and thankfully her only weakness is her thirst for blood so she’s basically a hungry little fledgling with no sire at this point who tries to ignore her hunger thinking it will go away but it wasn’t a phase mum. 

so for the first couple of years she would go so long without blood, black out and then when she came back to she was surrounded by blood in an awful scene and it fucked her up to see herself as a monster. her first few black outs from being thirsty were very traumatising and violent so now eunjin tries to always make sure she doesn’t go too long without having blood because it actually scares her

-insert her googling vampires like bella from twilight- so she figures out she’s half vampie which explains why she doesn’t react to silver and stuff like that like everyone else does. 

she also finds the family her father is from. wants to connect with them. realizes that they’d kill her after she reads up about dhampirs. is like YIKES i don’t need a family. 

anyway she’s 18 with no family working a day job of waitressing that gets barely any money. BORING. 

eunjin packs up her daddy issues and goes on the hunt for rich old men to kill, drink from and rob. it’s a pretty sweet gig tbh. she enjoys playing different characters and seducing these men because poor baby is convinced her real self is unlovable because she’s an abomination to vampires and humans so she has no home and decides to just play pretend to feel better. 

one time she finds a business card for safeword and walks in like this is my scene

gets distracted by a pretty girl. has first gay encounter. runs away in gay panic before anything serious can happen BECAUSE SHE’S A VIRGIN WHO IS WAITING TO FALL IN LOVE

DID I MENTION SHE’S A SOFT HOPELESS ROMANTIC WHO THINKS HER MUM AND DAD WERE STAR CROSSED LOVERS AND SHE JUST WANTS TO BE LOVED 

anyway so she keeps going back to safeword partially because she admires all the girls that work there but also because its great for her to hunt down her dinner kinda thing BECAUSE SHES A BABY WHO HAD TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO BE A VAMPIRE ON HER OWN AND THINKS KILLING AND DRINKING FROM HUMANS IS THE ONLY WAY TO LIVE 

anyway she gets caught tryna pick pocket a client but o-jeom is like honey u got a big storm coming... come work for us and steal from men lol AND EUNJIN IS LIKE YES PLEASE A FAMILY FINALLY AND YOU’RE ALL HOT GIRLS 

so now she poses as an escort to seduce men and then kill/rob them 

she’s honestly an angel with such a warm and golden heart life has just been too cruel to her but she still believes in love and fairytales someone please protect her
