South Africa: Richard Hume risks jail for shooting an alleged poacher
MALELANE , 24 OCT – On September 24th he shot an alleged poacher in the head, now Richard Hume, South African millionaire John Hume’s son, is likely to be convicted of attempted murder. According to father statement in the court, the shooting begin after Richard had suprised five poachers, who had already killed a warthog and an antelope. 28 year old Sabelo Maphungla was hit in the back of the head and is still in hospital.

HARARE, 21 OCT – More than 300 elephants killed in Zimbabwe with the cyanide. This was revealed by local hunters who discovered the elephants’ carcasses. The shots were made to Hwange National Park, where it is estimated about 80,000 elephants live.
