Ancient places you never knew existed in Nigeria
Ever Heard of Nigeria? What comes to your mind?.. Africa right yeah, you got it.
Before going into the ancient places in Nigeria, I will like to cordially invite you to Nigeria, If you haven't been to Nigeria and got no one in Nigeria, you can check out hotels depending on the state you are.
1. FIRST STOREY BUILDING IN NIGERIA
The First Storey Building in Nigeria is located in Badagry, Lagos State, Nigeria. I heard over two thousand people visits every year. The foundation of the building was laid in 1842 while the house was completed in 1845.  The rooms has six big rooms, four stores, two big sitting rooms.
History also has it that it was a place where returnee slaves lodged. Samuel Ajayi Crowther, a returnee slave lived in one of the rooms of the building. From the outside, the building looks old and frail but the wooden staircase looks as strong as ever. In the upper floor of the building, there is a glass containing the English and Yoruba versions of the bible that was translated by Bishop Ajayi Crowther.
The first storey building in Nigeria, although old on the outside, has many attractions on the inside.
