I am recently a new fan of Morning Musume. Recently, it took me quite awhile to travel all the 73 singles, 16 main albums, 5 best albums and 2 coupling albums. This is my thoughts for them.
1) We as a fan is too obsess with line distribution by the management. Yes, the line distribution is frequently unfair for the members but it is still up to the members whether they manage to utilize it to the full capacity. IMO, Tanaka has one of the most lines in MM history but to find one significant line of her (besides Shabondama where she rules) are basically hard as hell whilst some of the members who have less lines delivered it far better (for example, Haga surprise line in Mukidashitte Mukiatte, Kaga return line in BNM after Ikuta iconic prechorus solo, Ogawa rap line in Do It! Now). So, for me still depends on the talent too to show what they can do. Quality over quantity).
2) For me, everyone in MM CAN sing and dance on high level compare to normal idol group. Everyone can sing either from Takahashi (best vocalist) to Ogata (worst vocalist) and at the same time everyone can dance either from Ishida (best dancer) to Ishiguro (worst dancer). The levels might differ from. One member to another but compare to us schmucks.... They're legends.
3) I appreciate and love every members in the groups. Although I do have preferences from most liked to least liked, never once I felt any hatred to any members from Nakazawa to Yumigetta. Everyone of them are precious to MM and to us as fans whether as a hardcore one or casual one.
The only way i'll accept Beyooooonds as a generational group is if new subunits are created for new members instead of adding new members to existing subunits
The characters Troff and Scoff from Donkey Kong 64 have been originally rendered with pierced nipples (as seen in their instruction manual artwork, left column); an aspect that was removed in all subsequent versions of their artwork such as the one distributed to the press (right column).
