You were training with inosuke but today he was extra pumped up and you fell back missing your footing and Tanjiro knew this was gonna blow up big zenitsu wasnt good with handling you getting hurt last time he yelled screamed and ranted for hours not letting ANYONE in the team touch you hell he accidentally snapped at nezuko which caused Tanjiro to headbutt him knocking. Him out

Everyone felt the glare as zenitsu ran over picking you up immediately before anyone could say a single syllable  “ zenitsu im fine really! “ you tried to defend but you moved your leg wrong and let out a cry everyone hurt the crack it’s going to need serious treatment

Zenitsu slowly turned to you not saying a single thing and under his breath he whispered “ your.. not walking till i say so “ it was the first time you felt anger from his words he’s usually comically mad but this was real but you knew the anger wasn’t for you he was mad at the situation he hated your pain the way your eyes tear up your whimpers it’s like a wounded pet it broke him so bad

For the next week or so you were placed on his back for the whole trip to the closest town and even then you still stayed on his back ( you kinda grew addicted to piggy backing it was hard to fight the smile and he knew you were enjoying yourself ) eventually they treated the injury but you really wanted to be picked up again and he could tell with how shy you suddenly became he was thriving

“ z…zenitsu.. i Uh.. “. You struggled so hard you never asked for something before you worked for all you had “ yesss y/n? -Chan your so red it’s so cute!! “ he giggled uncontrollably “ i um.. want.. to um be picked up.. “ you whispered so low like you said something horrible

🍃💖Tanjiro headcannons 🍃💖

Tanjiro was dreading this day he was letting you do a mission on your own ( or so you thought ) the moment you went to the town to handle a demon he told he went to go investigate a forest ( had to pretend to sneeze to hide his lying face ) he silently sat on roof tops watching you handle the mission well until something happened

You were fighting a demon until he had a friend who jabbing you in the side with a paralyzing poison as you fell and boy did these demons disappear quick it was a flash before Tanjiro picked you up in full parent mode taking you to nearest place with medicine

You slowly woke feeling a wet towel to your head and Tanjiro brushing your hair softly with a brush and nezuko sleeping beside you curled up you honestly thought it was a dream from how much love you felt until you sneezed causing great pain to your side letting out a wail which caused nezuko to squeak that then caused Tanjiro to nearly fall backwards from shock accidentally hitting zenitsu in the face with the hair brush “ oh god im so sorry zenitsu!! “ he worried as inosuke snorted and laughed falling to the floor

When night felt you heard a small whisper to your ear which honestly could of healed any wound you had “ y/n i always be with my dearest i love you like the rising sun i shall always greet you every drawn and every dusk i shall make sure you safe to sleep soundly “ Tanjiro truly was your angel

Everyone was enjoying the night together resting up Tanjiro was out like a light but you were eyeing his box with nezuko inside you wanted to do something sweet for her since you feel bad she’s always in there

You quietly got up and knocks on the box “ hey nezuko I wanted to know if you’d like to go on a trip with me I wanted to get some gifts from the local town “ you smiled warmly as her eyes sparkled and nodded

You picked up the box nearly stumbling but you eventually got it and started walking singing a little tune heading into town buying her a little bow for her hair and a nice blanket to fit inside the box

But for Tanjiro freaking out when he woke up screaming nezuko waking up everyone as zenitsu squints “ stop yelling y/n took her into town for something.. “ the boy whipped around so quick and bolted nearly slamming into you on your journey back

“ t-Tanjiro are you okay you look like you’ve seen a murder! “ you stares worried as nezuko poked out with the bow in her hair Tanjiro stared then teared up “ y..you took her out to get her something nice..? My heart can’t take it “ he gripped his shirt the sweetest boy Alive was overdosing on sweet

“ w-well yeah she’s always in there so i thought she’d like something small like a blanket and a nice hair bow to show i appreciate all you’ve done for me “ you smiled warmly and the man couldn’t handle it and cried hugging you like you were on your death bed “ that’s the sweetest thing y/n i cant handle it.. “

You were a demon who isolated themselves in a town where many people left thinking the place was too dull one day a noise actually came to this town it was a scared boy running from a demon he lured into town

At first you didn’t really care but after witnessing the event a feeling formed a need a desired to actually protect a life you ran quickly to the screams grabbing the demon slamming them down to the earth cracking it as you let out a hiss “ you really enjoy feeding on lives more valuable than your own.. your a fool “ you did a sharp cut with your claws as the demon faded away as the poor boy was sobbing

You carefully hugged the boy whispering sweet nothings the warm embrace was your first mistake because this boy literally wont let go now after you let go the real problem began he knew you cared and clung like a cat trying to climb up a tree “ uh sir you can release your grip “

All you heard was giggling “ oh? My grip no i believe I must hold on longer since I snuck my way into your heart~ “ he continued to giggle death gripping onto your arm as you sweat slightly all you could of thought was “ what have i done.. “ he practically dragged you to his friends labeling you as his girlfriend one time wife slipped out which you went pale

After the days you spent with him and his group ( let’s say willingly ) you actually felt uncomfortable without his arms around your left or right arm it felt like a missing piece you actually started getting worried. Until he came back “ y/n were you actually missing me~? I knew it! You do like me back! “ he giggled it growing louder by the minute before kissing your cheek

You couldn’t help but blush because you knew he was right you grew happy with your new life and actually having someone to live for and friends to see smile all you could do was tear up from the warmth you now feel it’s like you were human again

You were a demon who was quite different you were peaceful at first but the village you lived in humans knew what you were and they wanted you to know they wanted you gone so one night you did something about it

Tanjiro was staying for a short while hearing people talk of you like some murderous beast so he wanted to investigate after all its what he does

He located your home which was the first confusion it was so lovely it had so many flowers and even had some food out for the birds? It was obvious this was a cute home

He entered which made him more confused before because you were so small and you had stuffed animals everything was pink “ uh.. im here because I assume your the demon..? “

You just kinda blinked “ yes i am this towns demon I didn’t mean to attack one of the villagers.. i was out on one of my lovely strolls and he was intoxicated so I defended myself” you looked down pained he nodded then snaps his finger “ if you are truly as peaceful as you say and these people are just blinded by fear you can come with me and i shall find you a better place to be “ he smiled warmly taking your hand

You couldn’t help but tear up a demon slayer showing you kindness? Unheard of you would of been dead now but he was just so pure you couldn’t help it but trust this boy so followed him out of town eventually going to a resting spot with his teammates

While everyone rested you saw his box move and you saw the little girl who’s eyes sparkled seeing you someone similar to her a demon who meant no harm to those who had kindness in their hearts Tanjiro awoke to you two sleeping together curled like two cats

Tanjiro squealed so loud blushing unable to restrain him self the sight literally overwhelmed him
