Do you design a lot of characters living in not-modern eras and you’re tired of combing through google for the perfect outfit references? Well I got good news for you kiddo, this website has you covered! Originally @modmad made a post about it, but her link stopped working and I managed to fix it, so here’s a new post. Basically, this is a costume rental website for plays and stage shows and what not, they have outfits for several different decades from medieval to the 1980s. LOOK AT THIS SELECTION:

There’s a lot of really specific stuff in here, I design a lot of 1930s characters for my ask blog and with more chapters on the way for the game it belongs to I’m gonna be designing more, and this website is going to be an invaluable reference. Dear Tumblr,

All those posts you see of young artists charging $3, $6, $10 for a drawing because they need help? That’s fucking exploitation, and fuck you if you think it’s reasonable or a “good deal" to pay nickels and dimes to squeeze a full-color original drawing out of some talented, hardworking kid because things are tight, and they can’t afford their textbooks. Or food. They sure as hell can’t afford to make you art for $6.

Instead, stop. And ask them where you can donate. If you can afford a $6 drawing, then you can afford to spend $6 simply to help someone. You don’t need internal organs as payment.

Don’t allow young artists to be exploited.

Satanists are not “edgy 7th grader kids who are trying to look cool and get attention” From what I’ve seen is that Satanism a lot more individual? Also not to mention that murder, rape, abuse, all that nasty stuff is BANNED from the religion Not to mention that human and animal sacrifices are also forbidden There is only one ritual in Satanism that requires blood, and even then it’s your own, and even then it’s barely any (just enough to write your name) Technically you can use black magic to harm others but ONLY for personal reasons, NOT in the name of Satan killing someone should only be for self defense Killing another animal should also be only for self defense or food

Satanism also predates Christianity by thousands of years
