The other great feature that we have for the driver is our blind spot detection system. The blind spot detection system on the Kia Optima uses these sensors in the rear of the vehicle that are monitoring the surrounding areas in the driver’s blind spot. That way it’s going to let you know if there’s someone in the area where you can’t quite necessarily see them in your mirror which is really cool. I’m here with this new 2016 Kia Optima and I tell ya with the striking new lines of this of this bold new exterior on this new design defiantly identifies the Kia Optima as one of the most exciting vehicles on the road today. I really love how the new Tiger Nose grill flows seamlessly into the new Bi-Zion high density discharge headlamps – dynamic bending light and high beam assist. Now I tell you these lights are super cool. They use a special bulb that’s field with high pressure Zion gas, not only for your high beams but also for your low beam settings. That’s going to give you a very vivid illumination and excellent visibility at night time driving. These lights are even able to point the light in the direction the cars driving based upon speed, steering angle, pitch, that’s going to help the driver navigate twisty roads at night. Now we also have another great feature for the driver in our advanced autonomist emergency braking system. Now this breaking system is going to help the driver avoid some of the most common types of collisions, it’s going to warn the driver of the impending collision and it can even apply the brakes to minimize the severity of the impact. Hi folks, Matt Redinger here at Deland Kia and I’m super excited to have the pleasure to introduce to you the all-new 2016 Kia Optima. Now 5 years ago Kia released the redesigned Optima and it’s pretty much been a game changer ever since and I tell you with this years designed engineering the revolution’s only going to continue. Shall we take a look? Underneath the hood you’re going to find three available engine choices – a 2.4 liter four cylinder, a 1.6 liter turbo as well as a 2.0 liter turbo – all of which are GDi motors. What makes these motors unique is what’s underneath the engine cover. The engine cover is just for cosmetics and sound reduction. What we’ve done is added a high pressure pump. This pressure pump is pressurizing your fuel about 1650 psi so you’re getting a lot better atomization with your fuel. It’s a lot like hooking up a hose to a pressure washer. So with that atomization process you’re getting better gas mileage, you’re getting better power and you’re getting complete burn. So you even have a car that’s cleaner burning for the environment. We also change where the injectors are, if you follow the fuel rails down to the side of the block. We found by doing that we have been able to lower the operating temperature of the motor. Heat is one of the worse things for an engine. So anytime you can lower the operating temperature that’s going to help you with your longevity and the reliability of the vehicle. Kia wants these things to be really super reliable because you have the best warranty in the business at 10 year or 100,000 miles on the drive train. We’ve also received a really great accolade through JD Power and Associates which is the number one non-premium brand when it comes to initial quality. Motivated by technology Kia now has Android Auto. Now this system is super super cool. Everybody pretty much has a smart phone nowadays and Android Auto is going to make your car’s infotainment system run a lot more like your phone. It’s really super easy to use because everyones pretty much familiar with their phones. It uses Google Maps when you want to use your navigation system. It also has direct contacts to your contact list. You can send text messages all by speaking to the voice activation system right here on the steering wheel. And here’s the part that I really love, Census powered by Google you can pretty much ask the system anything. So this is gonna end any kind of conflict on a long trip. Check this out.

Another great feature with this Android Auto is the fact that since its ran off of Google Maps its really super easy to use the navigation system in this. I’ve been in a lot of cars out there and every different manufacturer has their different spin on their navigation system and they have a book about that fat to really be able to get all of the benefits out of your navigation system. With this system, it’s so user friendly. You don’t even need a big book. Everybody knows how to use the Google Maps a lot of it just by asking the system where you want to go. Check this out.

How about we dive in and take a look? We have 3 engine choices available in the Kia Optima. 1.6 liter, a 2.0, and a 2.4 liter four cylinder. What makes this motor really unique and different from other motors is the GDi technology which stands for Gasoline Directed Injection. What makes it special is underneath here; Kia’s added a high pressure pump. Now this pressure pump is pressurizing your fuel by about 650psi. So you’re getting a lot better atomization with your fuel. Not only that you’re getting better gas mileage, you’re getting better power and you’re getting a car that’s actually clean burning for the environment because it is efficiently burning that fuel. The next thing you will notice is the fuel rails. The fuel rails are located on the side of the block instead of the top. Kia found that doing that they’ve been able to lower the operating temperature of the motor. The great things about these lights is you have an available feature called dynamic bending light and what’s that going to do is its actually going to aim your low beam in the direction that the car is heading. So it’s going to do that based on steering angle sensors, speed sensors and the pitch of the car. It’s just a piece of the puzzle folks. We actually have lights on the back here that are going to alert you if there is actually another car in the other lane in your blind spot that you can’t see from your mirror. We have sensors in the back bump that are going to detect that and if you happen to put your turn signal on to go in to the other lane its actually going to give you audible beeps to as well. Let’s dive in to check out some really cool tech features that they have available on this year’s model. One nice feature that we have are our new headlamps. Our new headlamps are Bi-Zion headlamps. Most vehicles are going to give maybe a halogen bulb or maybe even a Zion headlamp, but having a Bi-Zion headlamp is a little bit better. Halogen bulbs a very inefficient way of lighting the road and Zion headlamps are well too but they’re only for low beam. On our Kia Optima you have the Bi-Zion, so not only are you going to get the Zion lighting on low beam situations, you’re also going to gain that on your high beam situations too for impeccable night time visibility. Hi, Welcome back to Deland Kia. Robert Powers here and I'm standing next to the Kia Rio-5. Redesigned for 2016 with some great amenities. It's a sporty little package that comes in a very affordable price. What you see around the car is again we have, steer wheels with hubcaps. But, this is a second generation hubcap. The only way these are going to come off is if the lug bolts are taken off. So they can't be stolen and they can't fall off on the high way.
If you walk around your car several key features we see with the Kia the mirrors manually fold in, absolutely no problem there to keep those out of harms way. Basically, you have four doors with this one. With the LX trim level, this one its a manual doors and manual windows, but you do get power mirrors. You do get a sattilite radio in this car. As we come back around to the back of the car, what you'll see is with the manual opening of the trunk, even though this is the LX, the most affordable rate you do get the cover.

Hi Folks, Welcome back to Deland Kia. This is the 2016 Kia Rio in the 4 door Sedan version. What you have with this car is also the LX trim level that includes a power package. So you get keyless entry. You also have second generation wheel caps on this car which means that basically the only way that the hubcaps can come of is if you take the lug bolts off. So, we'll walk around the car, you'll notice the mirrors fold in, just that easy keep them out of harms way. The doors open a significant amount, so entry into the vehicle very easy. Especially if your dealing with car seats, other things that go along with a family, that need a very affordable vehicle.
The trunk release is down in the floor very conveniently located. You can see the manual trunk release and also your gas cap release. And what you'll see as you walk around the back of the vehicle is that you have a significant amount of trunk space. The seats fold down 60/40 so you can extend that trunk space into the car. As with most new cars, doesn't come with a spare tire. You get 5 years, 60,000 Kia Roadside Assistance and you have a tire mobility kit. So rather than doing something unsafe on the side of the road with a jack and lug bolts, You put some sealant into the tire, plug the inflator into your cigarette lighter, inflate the tire, off you go.

Your driver side is one touch auto down the complete way and then you have to hold it to bring it back up. You'll notice that the seat is also a manual seat, but it wil go up and down with the lever here. As you would expect from the Kia Soul in the base version and Kelley Blue Book's best brand value, there's a ton of storage space back here. This storage space is very flexible. The seats will fold down, 60%-40% to fold them down. Just that easy to do. Underneath this piece, fold that up and out of the way you have a nice compartment here to sectionalize any items you want to keep safe and hidden from view from outside eyes. This piece actually comes out just that easy.
The car has no spare tire. You know the reason why the Kia Soul and the base model doesn't come with a spare tire is to save weight and increase your gas mileage. And also when you think about it, do you really want to be along the side of the road dealing with lug bolts and a jack in an unsafe situation? With this system all you do is you put the sealant in the tire, plug the high pressure tire inflator into your cigarette lighter, inflate the tire and off you go. It couldn't be that simpler. Alright, so one of the other configurations is available to you if you need some deeper storage space is this piece actually comes out folds down to here, and then in and out and now you got a much deeper well to put other items.
Alright, for the back passengers once you're done with the seats, all you got to do grab the seat belt, give that a little flip, you can see it goes right back up. Back here we of course have anchors for any child safety seats and seating for three adults back here no problem. Lots of leg room in this car. Alright, so up here, up front with the Kia Soul in the base trim level you have power windows all around, power mirrors. Alright for comfort and convience, power windows all around of course. Driver side and passenger side are one touch auto up and down. For your seat in the soul Exclaim we have complete power seats adjustments including lumbar. And of course the other features tilting telescoping steering wheel, as you've seen in the other models, comes standard here. The lights are auto on auto off, BluTooth phone interface with up to five phones interfaced to the car. You also have cruise control, host of trip functions, that allows you to monitor your fuel consumption and also your total time on a trip. This car comes standard with our UVO Radio. Which stands for your voice. It's going to allow you to monitor teenage drivers, its going to give you the parking monitor app features so that you'll never lose your car. And allows you to connect to the car via your smart phone or your computer to do a host of functions. In addition to that you have a six speed automatic transmission, but you also have sportsmatic transmission. You can manually shift through all 6 gears. Some of the other unique features in this vehicle is you have active ECO, now what that does is active eco will actually limit the torque of the engine to maximize your fuel economy, save you money. The other unique feature is this is electrically assisted power steering. There is a button right down called mode. That mode button allows you to switch between sport, comfort or normal. That changes the feel of the steering to make this car just an incredible enjoyable ride. And UVO System comes standard this vehicle with a back up camera. Alright, here in the back of your Kia Soul. Again, in the Kia Exclaim trim level. This is your back up camera. One of the unique features is the back bumper is actually body colored. To open the car, just a simple push and lift. You know the Soul in the Exclaim trim level is an award winning vehicle and you'd expect some really nice touches on this car and you won't be disappointed.
One of those is the flexibility of the cargo space. Again, you have a vanity cover which keeps items out of the theives view. But, of course, this folds back and up to give you even more extended space. And, if you want to take it off. It can come off and out to give you an even higher amount cargo space. Down below you have your top cargo cover which again very flexible. Folds up and out of the way. Revealing a sectional storage space. Which is very convienet to keep items nice and organized. And of course this comes out. very easily. Giving you and entire amount of cargo space. No spare tire in this car. You have a tire mobility kit which allows you the safety of not using your jack or lugnuts on the side of the road. You have some sealant that will go into the tire. 99% of punctures are through the tred. This will seal the tire and the high pressure tire inflator will plug into the cigarette lighter connection, inflate it and you can go 60 or 70 miles to get the tire repaired.
If you need the additonal cargo space, the top rack then folds down an now you have a very deep cargo space. You can also replace the vanity cover at this point and that willl allow you to cover your items even better. Keep everything safe and secure back here. Alright, so your passengers in the back are going to have a very spacious enviornment in which to drive along with you. Each of the door frames has a bottle water holder, power windows all around. And if your a family this is 5 star crash safety rating and it does have all the child saftey features that you expect with Kia. Including the latest generation lockdowns tie downs for you child seats or car seats. The center console if you only have a couple passengers will fold down and that allows you to get cup holders and even a more luxurious ride to those in the back of your car.
