1890s Hair Set

This was my gift for week 1 of Simblreen!

The 1890s was a decade of great change, and fashion and hairstyles followed this. Buns shifted, volume grew and the reign of the Gibson Girl began so I decided to reflect that, along with the classic Late Victorian fringe.

[TS4CC] TRAFALGAR FLAIR: 2 REGENCY-ERA MASCULINE OUTFITS

Wow!!! Hello!!!! Here are two Regency-era suits that are recolors/mesh edits. These are inspired by fashion from 1805 (Trafalgar Flair suit) and 1820s/1830s (Handy Dandy Suit) respectively. They're not perfectly accurate, but frankly, if the fashion police show up at my door they're welcome to make more historical masc clothes their own damn selves.

NOTES:

- Both have texture maps/LODs/color tags/Disabled for Random & Disabled for Situational - Both REQUIRE the original mesh!!!!! - Trafalgar Flair has 13 swatches - Verts:3797/Polys:5356 - Get the mesh here!! - Handy Dandy has 80 swatches - Verts:5587/Polys:7638 - Get the mesh here!! - Recoloring these might be a pain in the ass so I included PSD files. Night Chair by DeDeSims

In 19th Century, this item was located in a special separate room or was moved around the house. Grander versions sometimes resembled a real throne, hence perhaps the term “sit on the throne”, referring to the toilet seat. The press advertised stools as “armchairs for going outside while staying inside”. Ebony wood.

It has a low seat, enclosed, with a flap under which there is a hole, intended for a chamber pot. A door is fitted at the back, which could be opened with a key in order to replace the vessel.
