i’ve got you.

        as the elder catches nero’s fall, it jolts him and he grips fast to ensure he’s not allowing all of his weight on the man… he hadn’t really meant or expected to essentially pass out for what seemed like no more than passing seconds, but he supposed that was his prize for overdoing it. which of course was nothing new for him. he pushed himself much too far, much too often and he paid the price for as much frequently. generally, he tried to keep it from the eyes of the people around him. catching a wink in the van if he could, taking a break hidden away in an alley for reprieve on a contract. small things, quick things. he inhales as he attempts to steady himself, borrowing derya’s arm to try and prop himself to stand up straighter.

        a few fatigued blinks and a tired smile are cast toward derya,     ❛ i, uh, thanks, ❜    a shift of his weight follows a sniff, exhaustion evident,   ❛ — i’m alright, it’ll pass. ❜
