My adventure with Disney just started a couple days ago as I accepted a position with Disney’s College Program. I applied as a joke, like “I’m a freshman. I won’t get in.” As the process went father, with the Web-based Interview, the survey, followed by the phone interview, I got accepted on February 21st, 2017. It’s March 12th, and it is finally sinking in that I will be in Disney in the fall doing Quick Service Food and Beverage. The wait was the hardest part. After the phone interview, there was a month and a half of waiting before finally getting my acceptance email. The wait was killing me, to the point where I was checking my email at least every hour. Finally, on a day where I was as sick as a dog, I got my acceptance email. I started screaming and crying. Being with my long-term boyfriend (who also got accepted into the program), I called my parents and then my grandparents. We immediately started planning to get me ready to be away in a short 5 months. I cannot begin to tell you guys how excited I am to do the program, and blog my whole experience.
