Hello, I am Hala, a mother of a child who has been living in Gaza under bombardment for more than three months. I was forced to leave my home and move to at least 7 areas in search of safety. We live a life devoid of the minimum necessities of life, with the struggle to obtain water, electricity, and food. My three-year-old daughter is unable to provide her with baby formula, Pampers, and even clothes. We have nothing. We left our home with nothing and cannot return to it. For a long period without work or any income, and with a lot of loss of life and money, my house was damaged, as was my husbandโ€™s wedding hall and his workplace. As A mother is unable to protect her daughter from hunger and death. I only want safety, and there is no safety in Gaza. We are forced to leave the country under these harsh conditions of displacement, killing and starvation. The image of my child crying for fear of death is still in my mind. I do not want to lose her soul in these massacres. But getting out of Gaza to save her, to keep her alive, requires a lot of money that we do not have. I started this campaign trying to get out of Gaza with my daughter and my husband across the Egyptian border, and if that fails, I will use this money to spend on my family and try to rebuild and compensate for the losses we suffered. We are extremely grateful for any assistance you can provide, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering our appeal for support during this difficult time.

Link stands against genocide. Link stands against the killing of 22835 people, humans with lives and memories and stories and ambition and favourite music and favourite movies and melodies they would hum while walking home. he stands against the brutality of collective punishment, of bombing refugee camps, religious buildings, universities, and the erasure of what made the land of Palestine so beautiful in the first place. (source: Gaza ministry of health, OCHA)
Link is the representation of courage in the face of total darkness and erupting of evil. His character stands to represent that even if young, weak, or powerless, you can fight evil, you can raise your voice, you can persevere. And what bigger bravery isn't there than of those living in the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza? what bigger symbol of courage is there in the world right now than the palestinians who are despite the countless oppression and violence resisitng against genocide, mourning their loved ones and fighting like hell for the living? Link is right there with them. They are Link. And we should be Link too.

The claims of Zionists not to feel safe on campus are by no means new and I do recall years ago when I was going to one of those universities, Zionists would block so much shit, spy on our events, and even try to suspend pro Palestine organisations during a time when we weren't organising protests or sit ins and the most we did was poetry readings, or that one time we built an "apartheid wall" with wood panels in an open area with each panel displaying info about Palestine and the occupation. That was the most we did that year, and the same year we had SO MANY Zionist complaints about feeling unsafe by the org, some of them literally fake crying in front of members of the administration.
Now I know I'm not saying anything new but of course they feel unsafe! Their entire existence has been propagandised by their own community and they have been shielded from any negative blowback by both government and private administrations for decades.
Of course they feel threatened, because why would they want to be faced with this ugly, ugly truth about Israel? They feel threatened by the amount of support and the tides shifting which is a constant reminder that their narrative had failed miserably.
Of course they feel threatened when they feel like they have lost their cozy bubble where they blocked out any mention of Israel being a terrorist state. They don't want to be constantly reminded and confronted by their complicity in this genocide.
Their cozy bubble has been burst and their safe space of genocide and apartheid denial has been burst, and now they are being forced into the reality of what Zionism actually is and what it is viewed as by the rest of the world, so of course they are scared.

Israeli soldiers are conducting a series of invasive operations across the West Bank, abducting numerous Palestinians, killing and injuring civillians, and engaging in destructive raids on homes and Palestinian property.
This is what happened today (April 18) in the West Bank:
At dawn - Israeli soldiers launched a widespread operation in various parts of the occupied West Bank, breaking into homes, damaging Palestinian properties, and detaining at least 26 Palestinians, including two young women.
At day - The aggression continued as soldiers proceeded to assault Adli Rayyes and his son, Hashem, resulting in various injuries to both of them. Palestinian medics had to transport them to Jericho governmental hospital for treatment.
Afternoon - The Israeli Occupation Forces moved to the central West Bank where they entered the town Deir Ballout (west of Salfit city). There, they confiscated a telecommunications car that was being used for repair and maintenance work.
Evening - Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded the Ein Al-Sultan refugee camp (north of Jericho). They stormed and ransacked homes within the camp and abducted a young man named Nayef Abu Dahouk, taking him to an unknown destination. At the same time an Israeli military jeep rammed into a young Palestinian woman in Jenin (northern West Bank). She was taken to the Jenin governmental hospital, and is currently suffering from fractures and severe bruising.
The Palestinian Detainees Committee reports that over 40 Palestinians were abducted by Israeli soldiers TODAY alone, from various parts of the West Bank, with a concentration of these abductions occurring in Nablus, followed by operations in Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jericho, Hebron, and Jerusalem.
Two homes belonging to Mohammad and Ahmad Zeidat, who have been kidnapped since January, in the town Bani Naim (near Hebron) were also demolished.
Over 8,310 Palestinians have been abducted by the Israeli Occupation Forces since October 7, 2023.
