Today is 5th anniversary of the death of HM Queen Anne of Romania. The photo shows the arrival of Their Majesties, King Michael and Queen Anne, along with Princess Helen and Prince Nicholas at the airport of Otopeni, Bucharest in 1992. An estimated 1 million people welcomed them home. In 1993 Queen Anne visted Southern Turkey and was a guest at my home there in Side/Managat where now there have such terrible fires. I remember how much The Queen loved her visit there, the country and the people. https://www.instagram.com/p/CSCJkpcKeLI/?utm_medium=tumblr
