I never would have imagined doing my makeup not because it makes me happy or even makes a minor dent in my self hatred but because I want to give my significant other one less thing to use as an insult

Just did my makeup in the back of my moms vehicle with a car light and pocket mirror because I’m going to see my husband for the first time in a month and doing so might slightly lessen the unavoidable verbal abuse

She gets so frustrated and short with me when I stumble over my words or (GOD FORBID) forget what I’m saying in the middle of a sentence which with a seizure disorder is often. “that’s so fucking annoying” isn’t it? Try having your previously high functioning brain regularly fail on you. So I just try not to talk around her
