Four Years Ago…

“Jungkook, this isn’t going to work.”

You both had been staring at the entrance of the bar for far too long now. Jungkook was surprisingly patient the first, second and third time you refused to get out of the car. You couldn’t help how nervous you were. You were eighteen in within the month but Jungkook had insisted to take you to this bar. It was his favourite and it was a special occasion. 

There was no way he was going to take you to just another one of his brother’s parties—not after you kissed him like you did the weekend before, not after you threw your image and reputation at school into the gutter for him, not after you told him never to break up with you again as if you were together, stating that you were together. It was different now, the different he had hoped for. And that meant, finally, he could take you on a proper date.

Although the sentiment behind the situation was sweet and thrilling and exciting, you still couldn’t shake your anxiousness. You fiddled with the fake ID in your lap. You didn’t know how he managed to get it for you but you didn’t dare ask.
