I'll preface this by saying that i haven't read any of the fics yet, but i just have a question so i know if this is right for me.

Will there be a happy ending? For the bucky barnes fic, in particular. I'm truthfully not sure how the different fics in the series connect since i haven't started yet. I just prefer to not read stories that don't have happy endings.

So when ghost received Novak's serum did her physique change at all like Steve's did, or was there no physical change like the flag smashers and Walker.

Great question!

In my head it was a mixture of the two. She didn't put on the mass or the height that Steve did when she received the serum but there were minor physical changes. Considering she'd been in a cell for ages, the muscles that she lost would rebuild themselves and shed look ever slightly stronger, but not much considering what she was going through at the time.

After her escape it is easier to build and maintain her body if she wants. And even if she doesn't, it takes care of it for her.

Nearly the entire wound Perseus left reopened during the fight; you’d popped the stitches Raffa had done a few days prior and Oliver had somehow managed to tear it open further. The knife wound in your thigh was cleaner than he’d thought it would be; the bullet in your shoulder wasn’t.

Neither were the breaks in your arm or the bruises on your ribs.

Everything seemed to hurt. Even breathing was sometimes difficult but you were slowly making it through.

She really shouldn’t be. In a way, she’s lucky that Novak gave her the serum. 

I didn't mention it last chapter but I'm curious to see if Tony's gonna get any POVs going deeper into how he's processing the whole situation

I haven’t talked about it much but I wanna rewrite some of the Villain Arc chapters to swap out some of Peter’s POV to Tony and Natasha’s POV. I think they’d be a better fit and then we can see what’s truly going on on Ollie’s side of the Avengers. 

But also, Peter. This is unfairly traumatizing for the poor kid. He's fifteen and already his trust issues are so severe that if I think far out enough, SM:FFH and SM:NWH would probably never happen. He'd probably learn not to trust anyone. When he meets Mysterio, he'll probably just remember Ghost.

I love the whiplash of Jack talking to Ghost and breaking me apart in a few lines of dialogue and then Sam talking to Bucky and the bittersweet comfort.

There’s a lot of ways that people are being pulled rn. Which means CW is gonna be great 

The accords fiasco wasn't entirely a personal conflict (excluding the reveal of who killed Tony's parents), it was personal experiences influencing political and tactical beliefs.

This is different. These were direct lies by people they trusted. By letting Walsh play them like fiddles, Steve, Clint and Wanda was walking a thin line between life and death, and every little move anyone made could snap that line and get them all killed.

I love how you structured Ollie and Ghost's dialogue so so much

It's so menacing on both sides but at the same time it's almost cordial. They're apologizing to each other like Ghost just dropped a drink on his freshly mopped floor. He's dismissing it like it's no big deal. The intent and the malice is in their words and their tone but the prompting and the back and forth are almost like two friends meeting up and hanging out.

Oooooohhh yessssssssss 

It's so good. I love it. Especially how they sound in my head, like Ghost's voice is sarcastic, and she's barely holding herself back when she talks

So true. Ghost has fire in her words, they’re low and raspy and spat out with venomous sarcasm. Ollie treats it like another day at the office. Like this is a conversation that he has with people on the regular.

The sun was high in the sky, nearly reaching its peak before it began to set and leave you in darkness once again.

You shivered lightly, pulling your blanket tighter around your bare shoulders as you gazed out into the stark-white landscape. Light flakes sparkled on the drifts surrounding the rundown shed of a safehouse you were stuck in and melting droplets of water glistened in the sun as sharp icicles melted on the eaves of the roof.

Another shiver wracked through you as you shuffled a bit closer to the fire that roared in the dilapidated fireplace, though a pair of dripping wet tactical suits that were hanging on a makeshift clothesline took up most of the space. Still, just enough heat came from the fire and it was just enough to stave off the goosebumps that threatened to prick across your skin.

First, it was Weston that got on Novak's radar first, not Ghost. Weston and his team were going after the stolen Aerocell terminal so Novak managed to pull some strings and get Ollie into the ranks of Alpha One [from Ollie's POV].

It wouldn't be until after Ghost destroyed the Aerocell terminal that Novak expressed interest in her [from Bucky's POV]. And then after she destroyed his bunker/lab in Colombia she was officially on his radar and in his sights. And then she continued to annoy him until he got both fed up with her and overly fascinated by her and...things went south

A low hum rumbled through your throat as you tucked yourself against Bucky’s chest, hiding your face from pale gold sunlight that flowed through the window like liquid gold. The storm had finally stopped, leaving drifts of snow curled around the window in a wreath of white.

You stretched after a moment, yawning as the liquid gold seeped across your skin and you lifted your head to lay it on Bucky’s chest. Your fingers followed the lines of his metal arm lazily. His fingers twitched slightly as you did and his eyes fluttered open not long after.

He smiled softly when he caught sight of you, the smirk on his face growing as he lifted his arm to pluck something from your hair.

Mistletoe.

He chuckled lightly as he tossed the plastic plant away and tucked you against his bare chest.

THE WEDDING

Another outfit created by Boone, she wanted something simple that would blend in so the grooms could stand out. A pair of pressed slacks and a sleek button up are accessorized by a silver watch and a pair of monstera leaf earrings (that match Jack and Duke's cufflinks) and finished off with a classic string tie.

THE AUCTION

One more outfit done by Boone, it includes a loose pair of slacks, just in case you gotta move fast. Heels are customized to have tear away straps because she knows you get into trouble whenever you have the chance.

THE BATTLE OF NEW YORK

Scrounged up from whatever you could find on the Helicarrier, this suit includes the pants from your SHIELD jumpsuit and a pullover you stole from a coworker's locker. A ballistics vest won't do much against Chitauri weaponry but it's better than nothing. But, hell, what could go wrong as long as you wear your lucky scarf? It's gotten you out of a burning bunker before, after all.

THE VILLAIN ARC

Pulled together from various shops on your way from Wakanda to France, reinforced pants and boots help keep you on the move. A pullover hides the Perseus brace and a heavy coat conceals a ballistics vest.

Kevlar lined motorcycle pants keep you safe just in case you run into trouble in your day to day life. A long sleeve shirt keeps scars hidden but a leather jacket adds to your mystique...kinda contradictory, huh?

EVERYDAY ALTERNATIVE ONE

Perfect for lounging around home, leggings are great for chilling on the couch watching TV...not your memories. A cup of coffee in your left hand an a SIG in your right complete the outfit.

EVERYDAY ALTERNATIVE TWO

When in the city, you gotta wrench in style. The Firebird demands tuneups monthly, you n ever know when you're going to go on the run with an amnesiac soldier with just as many secrets as you, after all.

EVERYDAY ALTERNATIVE THREE

Working the shop in New Eden requires a tougher clothing. The spring and the fall are crisp so a vest and a long sleeve shirt keep you warm and tough pants resist the wear and tear of rolling around on cement and gravel.
