Such as first day of school, first time trick-or-treating, first lost tooth, etc. And do you think you'd ever someday return to the Scream in There series? No pressure, just wondering! (also iirc you once said you wished you could include Dallas but it's too late continuity wise, I assure you that you could just have him show up with no explanation and we would all be thrilled lol)

I love River so much! I’ve reread this series multiple times to get my River fix! Thank you for bringing him into the malex universe.

Do you think this adorable family of three will expand and give River a baby brother or sister? Do you have any other head canons around their future?

i think river would love a baby sister or brother, but i don't see how that would be feasible for the family. it is actually something i have been tooling around with writing about.

i have many future headcanons, too many to list! but here's one:

i'm sure it is relatively obvious to people that river is neurodivergent. when river is around 5/6, they put him in a group sport because alex read that kind of activity is can be very helpful for people with river's disposition. they try a bunch of sports, but river actually really takes to soccer! he ends up being a goalie. he is average height, but can jump super high. he also loves that he gets to wear the neon highlighter color uniforms and not the boring navy ones.

michael and alex, naturally, become total soccer dads.

Love ‘scream in there’ so much! I’m a Cambridge girlie so besides loving River and Malex as dads, I always love the Boston references. Where do you think the family loves to go/what do they like to do together on the weekends in Boston/New England?

river's fave fave fave thing to do is walk around jamaica pond (i used to leave around the emerald necklace and i miss it so muuuuch).

michael and river's love going to the aquarium and the science museum ~just the two of them~

trying to break in the gates to walk around harvard

going to any park, sometimes alex and river will do yoga in the park

they tried going to the zoo once but river saw a bird of prey in a cage and started crying. then michael started crying. it was a whole thing.
