I’m loving  Florencia (cook and food advertising stylist) and Antonia’s (kindergarten teacher) home in Uruguay. 

Their large factory loft style home is filled with recycled furnishings. 

Florencia painted the home without having a ladder or masking the glass. She says, “The perfect is the enemy of the good.”

They are not attached to their things. When something “completes its cycle, donate or sell it. Let it circulate.”

Florencia restored the furniture, knitted blankets, made lamps, painted walls and pictures.

Their home is so neat! Wonder if anyone ever tripped over that skateboard.

The rooms in the mezzanine still need white washing, which is the next project. 

They say that their toy collection has been mysteriously going missing. 

What a lovely oak cabinet.

The flat screen is on a simple piece of wood and some books.

Out in the yard, they call this tree their “almost indoor ficus.”
