#i write fic occasionally but i don't read them #unless they're written by ange because they're my sibling and i love them and i trust their opinions on characters lol #the only fics i've written have been about darkest dungeon because i feel its canon is vague and loose enough to allow for more speculation #and creative freedom with characterization than most media #with material with a clearer and more defined canon story i don't really feel like writing fic either even if canon dissatisfies me #as for reading i'm also not a fan of the more popular fanfiction tropes #the fact that i mostly don't really care about shipping doesn't help either #and also i have to admit that i have tried reading some more fics from time to time but the average writing quality of most fanfiction is... #well‚ not great #and i don't have the patience to wade through tons of badly written fanfiction to find a singular decent one
