Caretaker holds a damp cloth, softly washing off a smear of blood, sweat and tears from whumpees face. They're as gentle as they would be to them awake, whispering "It's okay. Everything's okay. You're going to be okay." As if whumpee could hear them.

masking their depression really well but being absolutely drained and a lot worse as soon as they're alone

appearing as a 'neutral' person, when their neutral mood actually indicates the emptiness they feel inside

they don't accept invitations anymore

Whumpee's mind is really fucked up and they never voluntarily show it.

But the circumstances do.

An Empath that they freshly met strongly refuses to even be in the same room with Whumpee. No one understands why except of Whumpee themself.

A Mind Reader tries to get inside Whumpee's mind for some reason. Focuses, closes their eyes, places a hand on Whumpee's forehead. But then sudenly gasps, breaks the connection and runs out of the room to vomit.

There's some terryfying situation that makes all of the Teammates freeze in mindless fear. Whumpee however stays focused and takes actions to protect the rest. Because Whumpee's used to being in constant stress and fear.

"I trade my magical services for human memories. Pick one person from your group to make the sacrifice of their past. Anyone except of that guy over there. I don't want theirs."

person A is very nonchalant and extroverted person B always does things to embarrass them but they don't get mad and joins in sometimes

having a picture of their SO in their wallet, phone, etc. gives a sense of security and silent assurance

sitting next to each other and their SO leans their head on the others' shoulder (idk how many times i've written about this but i am OBSESSED)

person A takes their SO to meet their family and person B easily gets along with them, person B's mom asking to call her "mom" -BONUSSS when person B is playing/taking care of a baby, child, and person A smiles looking at them (OMGHSJAHDJSB)

“Uuhh…. It won’t come off….”

It’s been almost 30 minutes, and yet the blood won’t come off Yor’s hands. 

She washes and washes and washes. 

The blood is still there.

Under her nails. 

Under the cuticles. 

She has to clean her dirty hands before she touches Anya’s head and tucks her to sleep

She has to clean these dirty hands before she washes Bond’s pristine white fur.

She has to clean these dirty hands before she tries to cook a new dinner recipe from that book Loid’s bought her. 

She has to-...

“Yor, that’s enough.”

Warm hands envelop her trembling one. 

“Ju-... just a bit more and-...”

But that hand turns off the faucet and soon envelops her hands in a soft clean warm towel.

“They are already very clean.” 

Her husband’s warm and calming voice pulls her from the spiraling thought. 

She blinks several times and tries to focus on Loid’s steady taps on her hands. A movement both to dry them at the same time a steady rhythm to guide her breathing. 

And it works. 

It always works. 

Taking several shuddering breaths, Yor finally lifts her face and looks at her husband’s face. 

His brows are furrowed when he concentrates on dabbing antiseptics to the scrapes littered her hands. 

“I’m sorry.” She is so ashamed. “They are dirty.”

“No, they are not.” Loid’s voice is so benevolent. “They do what they had to do: to raise a boy into a fine man, to keep a child feel safe, to caress a dog to his content, to cook a wonderful meal for a family, and to be the home of a wounded, tired soul of a man.”

Her husband brings her hands close to his mouth and places a kiss on her fingers. “These hands are the hands of the most amazing woman I’ve ever met.”

Yor blinks hard to keep the tears from falling. 

When she feels her husband's hand enveloping her own, she takes a good look at them. 

His hands are bigger than hers. 

Equally calloused. 

Equally bloody. 

And yet, his hands are warm. 

Strong. 

Steady. 

Safe. 

She feels his tugs. “Let’s go home. I’ll prepare a good bath.”

She manages a watery smile. “Okay.”

I've always love "Hand" themed story for Yor. My favorite stories are "Bad Omen" by @buf309 and this chapter of "Once More with Feelings" by @sometimesiship

What a lovely little town!

(notes at the end)

It’s truly a nice little town! It just happens to look scary to the outsiders. And I guess you really can’t blame them if they’re apprehensive about the thick fog that comes from seemingly nowhere, or the deep forest that encircles the town!

Other than that, it’s really just your average town, if a bit small. The population caps at about 2,000, and every family knows each other. There are also some magnificent places to visit! There’s the magical library where the knowledge will never leave you, the café with otherworldly brews, and other things that a town would have!

And, really, you can ignore the ghost stories! Sure, the inn always has a cold draft about it, and maybe the graveyard hasn’t changed in decades, but do you really believe scary tales? Of course not! Everyone knows that your spirit stays in the ground when you die.

Truly, it’s a picturesque little place. No one ever wants to leave! It’s atmospheric. With the lush grass that somehow stays green year long, and the trees that sprout larger-than-normal apples, why would you ever want to go anywhere else? As long as you stay within the confines of the forest, it really is quite nice!

Anyone from anywhere is welcome; if you come from the depths of the ocean, the aquarium is perfect for you! If you’re from the dark forests, the wooded area around the town is the best place to dwell during the full moon! And if you’re used to staying in during the day, the town has a truly magnificent night-life!

It’s also a wonderful place to raise a family! The Academy is a fairly prestigious place to get an education. Why, any sort of little critters can excel there! There’s also the park, which is a great place to go for a family outing. You can even go out into the woods, though be warned, poaching bats isn’t allowed: wouldn’t want to shoot one of your neighbors!

The weather is also very delightful this time of year! In fact, any time of year is the best time of year to get an elixir from any of the charming restaurants! It never snows, either; it’s amazing what you can do with so many alchemists in town!

All in all, I’d say that it’s a quaint little town, with so many wondrous opportunities! So, please, consider moving to the magical town of Ȁ̸͓͕̽̉Ƨ̴̜̠͓͛͗̏̊̆T̶̢̼̋̽Ǝ̷̧͔̱̩̭̈́͒̋͐͝Я̶̬̃Į̶̰̳̖͌͑Ȧ̸̚ !

notes: umm i wrote this at school on a google doc because i’ve been trying to get into writing lately. i know it’s not that long but i’m pretty proud of it. i wanted it to be like a description or advertisement of a town that seemed a little bit off, and it’s supposed to be a monster town, and the reader is like a human who stumbled upon it. constructive criticism is welcome but dont be too mean :)
