Even if you have found someone who loves you back, the battle doesn't end here. Sometimes, not sometimes but all the time, love is not enough. You need to be respected, you need to be understood, you need to be communicated, the one-sided relationship of giving is not enough only for the sake of he/she loves me back, your love for each other must be constant despite the fights between you, you must be ready for a change in yourself, you need to point out each other's toxic traits and be open/ready to work on them. If your partner is insecure and overthinks every single detail, you're the one who is supposed to understand it. Instead of being mad, assure him/her. Loving IS A BIG DEAL.

I pray you find a home in the heart that you have learnt to love. I pray it envelopes you in a way that it shelters you from the cold. I pray it tames the tides of your ocean. And most of all, I pray it proves you are worthy of the same love you've always known to pour.

Taylah narrated that he said to Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنه, ‘My mother is with me.’
Ibn ‘Umar said, ‘By Allah, if you speak nicely to her and feed her you will definitely enter Paradise as long as you abstain from the major sins.’ (Sahih, Adab al-Mufrad #6)

"Your Creator understands the subtlety of your soul. He knows of all the things you've learnt to hide and silence in the crevices of your heart, so know that you can never truly be alone. Not when you have His Company."

When he (Al-Hasan) had finished his morning remembrance, he recited:
The world will not last for the living,
And the living will not last for the world.

Ramadan; it's something special. That one month where everything just clicks. We fast, holding ourselves back from wrong and doing more good deeds. It's like a recipe for winning in this life and the next. We dive deeper into the Qur'an, its verses bringing us peace and calming our hearts. We restrain our anger by replacing it with kindness and forgiving others. We give more to those in need, even if it's not much, because we know that reward is in abundance. Everything we do is for Allāh's pleasure, to ask for His forgiveness. But little do we know we could do that in all the remaining eleven months, for life is too short and we may not be living for too long. -@wrappedinamystery on Instagram

Your words are your words. No amount of words, explanations or conversations could make it exactly the way you want to convey. There will be critics, manipulators, and unhealed people using it against you. So you cannot ever make them fully understand you. But Allah understands you and that's the most beautiful part of our lives.

The same pen that wrote for Yusuf to be sent to prison, deprived of his rights and denied justice, was the pen that wrote for him to become a minister, reigning over the treasury of Egypt.
The same pen that wrote for Yusuf’s brothers to dominate over him and throw him in the well
is the pen that brought them to Egypt, standing before Yusuf in need and at his mercy.
The same pen that took Yusuf from the arms of Yaqoub, returned him to his father years later as a Prophet and minister.
I do not know what may be written in my story next. But I know who holds the pen.
Shall I not trust the One who wrote the best of stories to write my story too?

Ibn Al-Qayyim (May Allah have mercy on him) says in Kitab Ar-Ruh:
"When you enter into your prayer, and then you turn away from Allah in your prayer, The Lord of the world says to that person, “O my servant, where to? To something better than Me?”"

Among the supplications of Umar bin al-Khattab (Allah be pleased with him) is:
“O Allah, render all of my actions pious, and for Your Face sincere and do not render any portion of it to anyone else.”

While we spend time with family, friends and loved ones, orphan children in Gaza grieve the loss of their parents and siblings. While we decorate our homes, they decorate their tents. While we attend prayers in the mosque, they gather around the ruins of their mosques to pray and praise Allah. While we sit down to eat lavish dishes and desserts, the parents in Gaza watch their children starve to death.
Celebrate and be happy but don't forget: Eid is not the same for everyone. Especially not this year.💔🌙

Ibn Mas’ud رضي الله عنه used to go out on the last night of Ramadan and call out:
“Who’s [actions have] been accepted tonight, so we can congratulate him? And who has been deprived and rejected tonight, so we can console him?
Oh one who has been accepted, well done! And Oh one who was deprived and rejected, may Allah heal your calamity!”
[Mukhtasar Qiyam Al-Layl: 213]
