Minnie and Marvin for 22!

22. Who are their friends? Lovers? ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?

Marvin;

In terms of friends, he's incredible slow to warm up too, often times to befriend them it has to be someone else leading the friendship forward (example; Jackie, Misty, Panam, Tim Wright earlier on in Marv's backstory). In terms of lovers this kid falls in love fast, and deeply. His current love interest in his playthrough (after Jackie) is a WIP oc! Lung (They/It), who was raised a Scav, later joining the Aldecaldos with Marvin once the relic/Johnny is gone. They met through Minnie finding out Marvin is alive and enlisting him (via guilt tripping) into dealing with her old Maelstrom beef(s). Marv was supposed to kill Lung, or at least leave it in the hands of the NCPD, but Lung was raised as a Scav by it's mother, and became a doctor and Netrunner for the gang. We have a bit to work on them, but we're really loving what we've got so far.

Marvin never had an 'ideal' partner. Up until arriving Night City, his relationships were a topic of anxiety for him. Since his father and Minnie died (ahem) in that house fire, they've blamed themself and their Slendersickness for their death. His romantic attractions and loves usually tend to hit them life a fucking freight train. Head on, and damn near 'disabling'. In an relationship, though, they value domesticity, someone they can build a life and family with. Someone that they can see holding him from behind while he cooks. Someone he can see himself raising children with. Etc...

Minnie;

For Minnie, making friends is incredibly hard for her. She was on foot from Maine to NC since she was 9 until she was 13. The only people she only ever let close to her were her Father (deceased, caused by Slender), and her adoptive mother, Francine, a netrunner for Maelstrom in 2065, Padre when she defected from Maelstrom and joined the Valentinos, and once he arrives in NC in 2076, back in her life for the first time since she was 9, Marvin. As for lovers, Minnie is an Asexual Lesbian, and due to her trust issues, and connections, a romantic relationship has never been on her mind. She's had her crushes, don't get me wrong, and she definitely has some building romantic tension with Panam, but it's never been a main concern for her, on any level.

Ideal partner for her would be someone independent! Able to handle her own shit, and helps Minnie better herself, and is able to build an eventful life with her. Unlike her sibling, she cannot stand domesticity.
