Connie, being an Undying, like Steven and Peridot, after Jasper killed her, got new powers and ability. Like dettaching her arms and legs, or controling a kind of flame. She also got part "corrupted", without being a gem, what explain her wings, horns and tail. She lost her left eye ability to see when her power backfired at her as well. Connie "corruption" stay a mistery to the Crystal Gems.
