ooc; a quick update

oh man, i really suck at updating certain socials and being active. i'm always active on twitter, but my others get no love. that's gonna change in 2024! anyway, sorry for having such a dead account. a lot has happened since july. fanfest happened, i started my WFH job, RP events on ffxiv. i've been busy. but, it's hopfully going to be more active on here! <3

Celesta is actually very fond of animals! Being raised in the Shroud, there's no shortage of wildlife. When she was a child, she would grab some food and always feed the animals in order to be friends with them.

an open door, a burning hearth

Your chest is wide open, and your heart is a home. Others are welcomed in readily and asked to stay. You are comfort and love, everything you were never given but so desperately want to provide for others. You have built this welcoming hearth with your own two hands and won’t see anyone else left out in the cold. Be careful to not burn yourself out trying to keep everyone else warm.

13. How important is formal education to your character?

Celesta never really had a formal and recognized education (like the scholars in Sharlayan and her Scion friends) in the Shroud. All of her knowledge came from her tutor whom her parents hired. In her travels to Sharlayan, she had the opportunity to take a few classes which she happily accepted. She feels like education is very important and feel like it can open a lot of doors in someone's life.

17. How would your character react if they discovered a likeable acquaintance was Garlean?

When she was when she met Cid or even Lucia for that matter, she became very fast friends with them. While she would remain dignified and cordial with this new acquaintance, Celesta would be on her toes and be suspicious of said person. She doesn't judge where someone comes from. If they aren't calling her a savage to her face or trying to kill her, they're alright in her book.

15. Is your character easily intimidated? 

No, very rarely in fact. Back in her youth, she was intimidated by the smallest of things. Now, she's not really intimidated. There were some certain events where she was scared and thought the worse.

Celesta is painfully aware of the disparity between the rich and the poor. She isn't a fan of how certain people treat the less fortunate and will always step in when she can. She grew up in a modest lifestyle in the Shroud, mainly because of her family's business, so she's been known to throw spare gil to someone less fortunate than her and try to help them as much as possible.

1. How does your character feel about the sea? Celesta loves the sea from the safety of land. She's known to be seasick-prone, so she likes to be passed out in the cabin or she'll usually distract herself with other matters until they weigh anchor. 2. How does your character think of magic? Celesta has always been fascinated by magic since she was a child. It wasn't until later in life that she got the chance to travel with her red mage teacher and learn the art of red magic
