"Huh?" Looking around the tower, trying to locate the source of the voice, Eugene realized to his horror that someone lived in the tower.

"I'm sorry," Eugene said trying to talk himself out of trouble even though he hadn't quite found the source of the feminine voice.

"I was being chased, and I saw your tower and thought maybe I could hide here?"

It had been an ambitious plan, steal the Lost Princess’ crown and then find a girl that not only looked enough like the princess, but dumb enough to believe that they were legit and present her to the king and queen as their lost daughter.

The first part of the plan went off without a hitch, they got the crown, but then the Stabbingtons got greedy. They wanted to sell the crown and not work for the reward money, which in all honesty, a few years ago Eugene would have agreed with them on.

Now running not only from guards, the Stabbingtons, and that psychotic horse. Eugene stumbled into the glen that held the secret tower.

He stood for a moment, dumbfounded by what he was seeing, but the angry whiny of that horse snapped him out of it and sent him running in search of a way in.

There didn’t appear to be a door, but a window was open.

Granted that window was seventy feet off the ground, but nothing a little climb couldn’t fix.

Rapunzel and Pascal were finishing up baking some cookies. The blonde froze when she heard something outside. She spun around to face her window. Whipping her hair up, she climbed up to the rafters and opened the skylight window. She slowly peeked her head out and looked down. A MAN was climbing her tower.

He was getting closer and closer to her window. It was too late to lock it. She exhaled a shaky breath and quickly made her way back down to the kitchen. She grabbed her frying pan and quickly moved into the shadows, silently praying for the confidence and fearlessness to face him. 

When she heard his boots hit the ground inside her tower, she peeked out from behind a rafter. ❝ W-who are you? How did you find this tower? ❞ she demanded and slowly stepped out of the shadows. She gripped the frying pan harder in her hands.

     Gothel looked down at the child in her arms. She knew that they’d come looking for her. But she would never let them find her. The line of Coronians would END. She didn’t have the heart or the will to kill the baby. After all, she possessed something that Gothel NEEDED. Youth and Beauty. So, she hid her away.

     Arianna and Frederick offered all of the riches in the world to anyone who could find their precious daughter. In doing so, they were met with young girls who resembled their daughter, but none could prove that they were truly the LOST PRINCESS. 

     Eighteen years later, the Princess was still missing and the King and Queen lost hope that they’d ever see their daughter ever again…

     High in a tower, in a glen not far from a Kingdom, lived a young girl named Rapunzel. The blonde was enjoying her day of painting and candle-making and playing chess. Her best friend stuck to her side at all times. She smiled at him and giggled. ❝ Pascal, have you been PRACTICING? ❞ she asked him. 

     The chameleon squeaked up at her and nodded. Rapunzel turned back to her painting. To the naked eye it looked like light colors all swirled together. But to Rapunzel, it was a dream she’d been having lately. Bright colors, bright lights, floating around her. ❝ What does this dream mean? ❞ she breathed.
