Operation Olive Branch is a continuously updating spreadsheet of Palestinian escape funds where progress towards their goals is being tracked. As of right now, there are over 100 funds listed there.

Any amount of money can make a difference. With their recent decision to bomb Rafah, the only remaining “safe” territory in Gaza, Israel has forced Palestinians into a corner by giving them nowhere else to go. The international community has given Israel the ability to act with impunity - it is long past the point in time to rely on those in power to hold Israel to any standard of compassion.

Today, I want you to look at this document, choose a fund, contribute to it, and share it. The people in Rafah are living on borrowed time. Free Palestine.

okay okay okay. top 3 albums for summer? favourite book? favourite poem?

ok so. i'm not a party gay i'm a chill at the beach and go on hikes and get sunburnt at a cafe terrace while sipping a fruity little cocktail while i try to contain my third mental breakdown of the day gay. so my summer vibes are quite mellow. i'm gonna go with

when facing the things we turn away from by luke hemmings (lowkey favourite album of all time. this is more of a late august vibe)

strange trails by lord huron (this is my hiking album specifically)

heathers the musical soundtrack (for when i'm in a fun mood)

my favourite book used to be pride and prejudice but lowkey the raven cycle is becoming my fave. like maybe it's because it's the only thing i've read since high school but i really really love it. it's not one book though it's 4

it's so hard to pick a favourite poem!!!! but here are a few i really like off the top of my head, in no particular order:

you can literally never go wrong with having diners in your story regardless of its genre. like they're false beacons of hope, they're safe havens for the lost and unwanted, they exist as a bridge between worlds, they're haunted by the memories of all the people who have been there before, they're both cozy and eerie, and they're literally always there. every town has a diner. every town knows what those flickering red lights mean. and stories about diners never fail to fuck severely.

Omg ok listen, I've been meaning to read that poem for a WHILE but I have this thing where sometimes I procrastinate reading things that I know are going to be good bc I want to be in the right headspace, but I'm SO glad I finally read it because !!!! it's one that I feel like I could read over and over and pick out a new line I'm obsessed with each time. After I read it I had 'I go to church and I rot like the floorboards' stuck in my head all day. ANYWAY everyone go read this poem<3
