The rough vibration of her phone against the hard surface of the counter caused the blonde to snap her head in the direction of it. She had just finished plating up some bacon and eggs so she had time to see what Chloe had replied.

She had every intention of going and showering before changing into actual clothes for the outside world. She lifted her phone and smiled widely as she read Chloe’s reply, quickly starting to type up her reply.

(Text to Chlo) not at all, babe! I’m still in my PJs!

(Text to Chlo) You fancy doing something today?

She smiled as she tried to imagine how cute Chloe looked in a still half sleepy state, because that was just adorable. She sat herself down at the breakfast bar and began to eat her food, skimming through her social media accounts while she ate and waited on a reply from Chloe.

It didn’t take her long to eat so within about ten minutes she had made her way upstairs and into the bathroom to get herself showered and sorted.

⚠; Blue eyes inspect her appearance in the mirror near her bed. Her hair isn’t nearly as dirty as she expects it to be, and yet she finds herself grimacing at the way it feels between her fingers when she reaches up to touch the ends. Chloe has found herself thinking about her personal hygiene more and more lately thanks to her no-longer-just-a-crush, Rachel. Like, does she deserve to be seen on the arm of some stank-ass gremlin? Hell no, she says inwardly to herself.

“Fuck it.” Chloe huffs under breath before stomping off to the bathroom to take a quick shower. She’s in and out in under ten minutes. After drying herself off she heads back to her room to rummage through her drawers for an outfit that is unarguably cleaner than the one she picked up off of her floor earlier.

Now she’s all dressed and ready for the day. Taking her phone out she finally types out a reply to her girlfriend.

She blinks the image away; face warm. Chloe tries not to appear so obvious. “Bullshit, can you actually surf?” The strawberry blonde inquires, lifting her head to stare into hazel eyes incredulously. “--That’s hot.”
