For those of you who know the Phantasy Star Online games you know they're fantastic. There's currently Phantasy Star Online 2 Cloud on the switch, but is only in Japan. I've been waiting for a Western release of Phantasy Star Online 2 since the PC version, but now that the Nintendo Switch is so successful why not make a western release for this game. It'd be perfect for the switch! via /r/NintendoSwitch

One of my favourite games on the PSP, a fantastic puzzle/music/vaguely Tetris-y clone, supposed to be out on the 26th June but have seen no mention of it on the eshop or reviews of it anywhere. Anyone else looking forward to this coming out? via /r/NintendoSwitch

So I'm sure by now everyone will have had chance to put some good hours into Mario Tennis Aces; from a personal standpoint I've just finished up my 100% run through the campaign and have 3 tournament wins under my belt so I wanted to voice some thoughts, particularly with the way Nintendo are handling Mario Tennis Aces content and the current state of the game.Let's get the elephant in the room out of the way to start with; Mario Tennis Aces isn't as content packed as we all hoped. The campaign is good fun but is super short, it's certainly not every day I 100% a game on launch day. A few things in particular have stood out to me though. The game seems to be lacking the polish which often define Nintendo's games. I think it's easiest if I go through a number of points which I thought of while playing the game todayIn campaign mode, if you fail a mission, rather than a menu popping up with 'retry' and 'quit' as is pretty much a given in all mission based games, instead the game fades to black for a worrying amount of time before kicking you back to the menu. The menus for freeplay are dire, i'm sure we've all seen the weird way you have to select a course you don't want to play stuff with no previews of the courses but this runs throughout the entire menu. It honestly feels like Camelot simply didn't have a UI designer on the team.In terms of modes; outside of freeplay, swing mode, the single player campaign and tournaments there's nothing. Gone are the previously staple ring shot, mini-games etcIt stands out as odd that only mario has an alternative costume (if you played the demo tournament) but no other characters do. These would have been ideal unlocks for the campaign. At the very least each character should come equipped with the classic outfit and tennis outfit and it's a crime that wario, waluigi and luigi's possessed outfits aren't unlocked after beating the single player. These seem like they might be on a drip feed in tournaments in the future which is a little sad as it's not going to be the most exciting to unlock standard costumes. My over-riding sense is that the game was rushed out to fill the summer gap in nintendo's 2018 schedule. The game's mechanics are wonderful but as we've seen with splatoon 1, splatoon 2 (to a lesser degree) and arms, the game is seriously lacking in modes to enjoy at launch which is a huge shame. My hope now is that, like splatoon and arms, the level and speed of content addition is swift because as things stand while I've had a fantastic time with Mario Tennis Aces, there's not much there to keep me coming back in the weeks to come which is a real shame given how excellent the gameplay is.What does everyone else think? Have you been enjoying Mario Tennis Aces? Are you happy with the level of content at launch? Does the drip feed of new additions keep you coming back for longer? As a veteran of the series (having played and 'completed' every Mario tennis title to date, or at least completed as much as is possible) I'd put Mario Tennis Aces in it's current state towards the bottom of the pile. It's certainly a heartier title than Mario Tennis Open and Ultra Smash but in comparison to the original N64 title and Gamecube iterations I don't think it yet has the legs to keep me coming back for me quite yet. via /r/NintendoSwitch

I really hate when devs do this shit to players...feels like needless added punishment to failing a level in adventure mode.Needs to be a faster way to retry the level. Some of these are hard, and people will definitely fail several times. via /r/NintendoSwitch
