Seriously...you should have smelled the house while this caramelized Butternut Squash was baking...My 12 yr. old son (who won’t eat squash- yet) was home not feeling well. He called in from the living room to ask what I was making that smelled so good! I was prepping food for taping 5 recipe segments for a local morning show. This past weekend was our annual friends and family camping trip. We gather 40 of our closest friends (well more than half are kids!) and head to a campground for 4 nights. I’m not sure if the kids or the adults have more fun. My favorite night is pizza night 🍕 were we cooked 14 pizzas over the fire 🔥 and on the grill. Delish! The dads even cook breakfast in the Dutch oven! 🙌 It’s Tuesday already, but I’m still having a hard time getting back to work- I could really go for that pizza again - my fav is garlic and olive oil topped with spinach, tomatoes, and Parmesan. And a a touch of my friends homemade pesto 😋 so good!
