Three years ago, we started as a table in a hallway at Megacon Orlando... This weekend, we’ll be at Megacon Tampa with our biggest setup to date! Stop by Room 6 if you need any repairs to your costume, shoes, bag, that giant plushie you just bought, if you need to freshen up, or if you just wanna say hello! :)

COSPITAL WILL BE AT MEGACON ORLANDO 2017!

For the third year in a row, we’ll be on hand to help you look and feel your best so you can enjoy the con to the fullest- FREE OF CHARGE! We’ll be at BOOTH 3167 this year between the cosplay park and community zone. Here’s just some of the tools, equipment, and supplies we have on offer:

Some new things we’re offering this year: -Quick self-serve stations, for when you -just- need a bobby or safety pin, or a pre-threaded needle to do your own repairs. -A phone charging station, to get you a little juice and keep you connected. -Private changing booth, for more discreet repairs or adjustments or congoers nervous about using public restrooms. We’re here to help! Our staffers are clearly identifiable in red aprons with the Cospital logo on the front and nametags which include their pronouns. In addition to repairs, we’re happy to act as bathroom escorts or intermediaries in cases of harassment when a Megacon staffer can’t be found. If you feel harassed, overwhelmed, or distressed, feel free to stop by- Cospital is a safe space! Cospital is free for Megacon attendees! But we’ll gladly accept tips to help recuperate costs for supplies, new equipment, and getting us to the con. We also have buttons available for $1! Short on cash? That’s okay, thanks are appreciated, as well as liking our facebook page or checking out our Amazon wishlist.

Good morning, friends! We wanted to take a moment to remind everyone about our commitment to promoting safety and fun in this hobby.

If you witness or experience harassment, please report it to MegaCon Convention staff. If you cannot find any staff, we'll send someone for you. You are welcome to wait with us in our booth (#3167) until you feel safe.

On a similar note, if you feel like you need an escort to the bathroom, you can approach any of our staff in the red aprons - our pronouns will be visible on our nametags.

HOLY SHIT THE SUGARPLUM FAIRY FROM CABIN IN THE WOODS  At first I thought it was an incredible 2D paint job and then upon a closer look it turns out they crafted this incredible 3D sculpted face I was very taken aback and freaked out and IN LOVE  MR. ORANGE!!! I was SO MAD that Buns ( davidlunch1995 ) wasnt with me, Im glad I was able to get a pic tho cause she is obsessed with this film (if you are Mr. Orange please hit us up lmao)

This Caddyshack group was awesome and a total hit! And seeing older films still getting cosplay is sooo exciting to me and many others (which sets up my final photoset….)

OK YALL  YOU DONT UNDERSTAND THE AMOUNT OF FREAKING OUT I DID CAUSE YOU WERENT THERE BUT

The Jerk is literally my favorite comedy and I quote it all the time and NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT BC ITS A FILM FROM THE 70S AND IW AS BORN IN 93 I LITERALLY YELLED “HE HATES THESE CANS” AS SOON AS I SAW HIM and like. I legit almost started crying I was so excited lol god….

Anyway, this COOL AS HECK cosplayer is cosplaying Navin R Johnson from The Jerk in one of the most iconic scenes and literally my absolute fav scene in any comedy  He recreated and designed all the can labels as well as the jumpsuit patches!! He even crafted the Opti-grab omg HE EVEN HAD A PIC OF THE JERK’S FAMILY AND ASKED IF I WANTED TO SEE “A PICTURE OF HIS FAMILY” AND GOD…..

I was beside myself and I still am as you can probably tell

anyway, thats it for my pics! I had a great time and working cospital was such an incredibly fun time I cant imagine going to a con and not working it now? Its such a different experience but I loved it <3
