hi guys!

it’s been like. a while. sorry for going awol without any warning. i just completed my first year of college and it was great, but i also went through a lot of mental health challenges that kept me busy and offline. i’m still struggling a bit mentally so it’s gonna be a bit until i am back and posting regularly (again, i am very sorry for not announcing this earlier). sometimes mental illness just makes it hard to even announce something with how exhausting it can feel. thanks for being patient and thank you to everyone who checked in, just going to tag you here to let you all know that i’m ok. not going to be very active at the moment, but just saying i’m ok <3

Stranger Things headcanons: Sick Edition

(like who gets the most sick, what symptoms do they usually, does Byler take care of each other, Mike has a fear of Will getting sick bc trauma and always goes overboard and slightly into panicking worrying boyfriend mode, etc)

omfg YES i have so many sick byler headcanons ngl

when mike is sick, he's on his motherfucking deathbed

even if it's just the sniffles

he doesn't care, the world is fucking ending

most of the time, it is just the sniffles. mike doesn't get SICK sick a lot

he gets into his coziest pjs and lives on the couch for at LEAST 4 days, but he tries to get a week out of it if he can

mike does nothing but eat soup and watch tv and complain

he's one of those people that uses so many more tissues than he actually needs

he'd pull out like one for every drip from his nose

will knows he's being overly dramatic but thinks mike is adorable and endearing anyway so he waits on him hand and foot

but also when mike is dragging it out for too long, will is like "well i was GOING to take you for ice cream, but i guess you're too sick..."

and mike just springs up and is like

"I'M BETTER"

when will is sick, he's like the walking dead

it's never just the sniffles with him, it's always like a severe fever or something of the sort

but he REFUSES to be taken care of

he always says he's perfectly fine while hacking up a lung

will doesn't want to be babied or care for, so he tries to hide it as much as possible

until mike realizes and he gets SUPER concerned

he tries to convince will to take it easy and lay down for just a bit but will always fights him and tells him he has stuff to do

until will like throws up and mike finally coaxes him to bed

and mike takes such good care of him, he lays him down and bundles him up in blankets and brings him everything he could possibly want or need

he also cuddles with will, even though will says he shouldn't in case he gets sick too

but mike says it's worth it <3

and will thinks that's sweet

until mike starts sniffling a day later and then will has to wait on mike hand and foot lmao
