there's something about these lines in particular that make me tear up.

he really understands if balloon can't forgive him, and doesn't even force him to believe that he has changed. "you don't owe me forgiveness", nickel finally got that he's the one that should be apologizing. he gets that his fear turned into hate and that it affected his friends, even if he wanted to protect them and himself from who he saw as a threat. his alliance. the ones he loved. his treasures. (suitcase and bb).

and he was ready for balloon to not forgive him. with good reasons.

he recognizes that he changed for the better, but that that doesn't mean that balloon should be involved in that change if he doesn't want to.

however...

balloon finally gets what was going on too. nickel wasn't... trying to do what he did at springy's challenge. he wasn't faking it till he made it. nickel was being genuine about his change.

he wants to make himself easy to love. easy to digest. easy to be around with.

to make up for the fact that it's him.

and. without his snark. he's genuinely very loveable. he's caring and kind.

because he... he finally fucking got that being vulnerable isn't being weak and... lets himself feel everything. he accepts the fault.

And. Nickel genuinely looks so... so happy in this ep. It feels genuine.

he really wants to get better. he really wants to be okay. he really wants to make up for the way he treated everyone.

HE GAVE GOOD ADVICE AND CARED A LOT FOR SOMEONE DESPITE JUST.

JUST.

AHGGGGG.

HE COMFORTED SILVER.

HE COMFORTED SILVER. THE GUY WHO KIND OF STARTED HIS WHOLE PROBLEM WITH BALLOON THAT WAS NECESSARY BUT ALSO THEY JUST VERY MUCH DIDN'T LIKE EACHOTHER. HE COMFORTED SILVER BECAUSE HE FELT SAD ABOUT HIMSELF. BECAUSE HE FELT INADEQUATE. AND REASSURED HIM.

BALLOON WAS GOING TO ESCAPE AND LEAVE CABBY BEHIND (yet this is understandable), AND NICKEL, SOMEONE WHO ACTED UPON FEAR TOWARDS WHAT HE CAN'T UNDERSTAND FOR A WHOLE SEASON, RUSHED TO AID HER.

I don't give A FUCK about people thinking that Nickel is a piece of shit that did all of that on purpose and that his arc was rushed and not well made. IT WAS. AND THIS EP PROVES IT. HE CARES. HE CARES SO MUCH.

HE'S FINALLY. FINALLY. ALLOWING HIMSELF TO FEEL. AND TO MOURN. AND TO LEARN. AND TO LISTEN.

AND TO TREAT HIS TEAM AS EQUALS.

‌• He is Russian (oh, it'll be fun...) ‌

•his parents are emigrants, but he was born in the USA (or something like that. I'm, uh, not really sure). thanks to this, he doesn't have an accent, which he's very happy about.

•Trophy knows Russian, but doesn't like to speak it (sometimes he still uses Russian words completely by accident)

•he tries to hide his nationality, 'cause... He just hates it. ‌

•he probably insults Russians on the internet (boy, go to a therapist)

we're done with nationality. let's move on to other things. ‌

• He hates alcohol because when he's drunk, he behaves even worse than when he's in a normal condition. ‌

•Trophy is pansexual and polyamorous

•He's dating with Cheesy and Balloon. ‌

•Trophy loves taking photos of landscapes and other people, but literally hates taking photos of himself. (He's ‌just like me)
