Actual source would be the animated Star Wars Clone Wars pilot movie. It’s an exchange between Ahsoka and Anakin.
Kohaku: So what’s the plan?
Copen: I thought you were the one with the plan.
Kohaku: Nope! I’m the one with the enthusiasm.

The audition was a cover so that Talia and Auriana could find Iris, as (prior to her training) her magic manifested when she sang. There technically wasn’t a “Lolirock” until the end of the first episode.
Question: Just how famous is LoliRock in-show?
The first episode, from my perspective, implied they’re not really well-known.
Iris says at the end “…it was time for our first concert”, obviously meaning they’d never performed before, which likely means Talia and Auriana never did any performances prior to finally finding Iris.
Iris isn’t familiar at all with the name. Surely, if they were famous, the name, at the very least, would’ve rung a bell.
During the auditions, Auriana says they’ve only recently come to Sunny Bay. Surely, if a famous band had been looking for a singer in other towns, word would’ve spread, giving more reason for Iris to have heard of LoliRock before.
So, if the trio wasn’t well-known just yet, how are they able to perform their first concert on a huge stage? Where’d they even get it? The only hint they are famous is the number of people who were lined up to audition, but that would suggest Talia and Auriana have done performances without Iris, and saying “our first concert” suggests they hadn’t. Even if the trio is technically self-employed, someone has agree to host them or sell them the stage, right? I’d imagine the trio would’ve gotten some funny looks if they were unknown, yet tried to pass themselves off as a band to get a stage (I know @teamlolirock has said Sunny Bay’s residents are rather oblivious, but still).
You know what? Screw it! Why am I applying logic to a show where magic exists? Must stop over-thinking.

“There’s a lot of comedy in media these days. Does it cause comedy in the streets?”
Honestly, I’m really sick of people acting like abuse survivors are the lord high lords of fandom.
It seems like every time dark, edgy writing or shipping preferences are brought up, people turn to us and ask, “Is this problematic? Who do we need to harass and demean?”
No one, you shitheads, because it doesn’t matter, and we don’t make the rules. There are no rules. As long as you aren’t doing anything explicitly illegal, it doesn’t matter.
So what if some eighteen-year-old girl on tumblr ships SebaCiel? What does this affect in the real world? Who does this affect other than you and your own delicate sensibilities?
So what if some twenty-four-year-old dude on tumblr writes about dark subject matter? Since when were you the fiction police? Who gave you the authority to tell him not to do that?
Who told you that you were the sole decider of what fiction is and is not acceptable? Where the fuck did you get such a ludicrous idea from? Do you seriously think that just because you’ve been through something traumatic you and only you get to decide what’s okay to write about and enjoy?
That’s fucking dumb, mate, get off your high horse and let people enjoy their fiction the way they want to enjoy it. Your personal experiences don’t give you or anyone else the right to decide what’s acceptable and what’s not. That’s not your place. That’s not anyone’s place.
You can be uncomfortable with something without being a self-centered, narcissistic douchebag. Fuck off.

In Sunshine, the issue wasn’t that they had a limited supply. The issue was that a mistake made by the characters (They forgot to readjust the heat shield, so they had to tilt the craft to fix it, which exposed part of the ship to the sun) early in the film caused them to lose their hydroponics facility. If they hadn’t tried to change course and meet with the Icarus 1, they would have had more than enough air to last them through the entire trip, because the oxygen garden would be cleaning it.
Interstellar Jayview
So I was gonna watch Princess Bride but I didn’t have the 3.99 to rent it on Amazon Video, so I looked through all the free Prime videos and found Interstellar.
While I have a few blanket questions about why some characters made some choices, and while I feel Matt Damon’s character was the most unnecessary part of the entire movie, I still feel as though the movie was pretty spectacular.
And one major question I was asking through the whole movie was, WHY THE HELL DIDN’T THEY HAVE ENOUGH FUEL?
They were sent on a mission to find a new Earth, and they were barely given enough fuel to do fucking anything!
Time and time again they had to conserve fuel, do maneuvers that helped them slingshot instead of using fuel, etc.
Why the fuck didn’t they have fuel? The last chance for the human race to populate a new planet and they’re like “Nah don’t give them too much fuel, I mean we want them to find a new home for humanity but giving them extra fuel would cost us sweet sweet American earth dollars”
Like why
Like why the fuck actually
It’s like in Sunshine where they barely had enough oxygen or food to get them to re-light the sun, like WHY NOT? Why would the last hope for humanity’s survival be so limited on supplies?
Like for fuck sake, give them EVERYTHING! Give them ALL THE FUEL!
Give them enough backup fuel that they can fly to all 12 of the potentially inhabitable planets, not enough for maybe 2 and barely 3 if they pull some epic bullshit throughout the whole film to conserve fuel!
Anyway 8/10 movie it was really depressing for the first 2 hours but had a very touching and awesome closing act

Good to know. I’m considering writing a crossover fanfic with Warframe, so this will be a rather useful guide. Between team Lolirock and a Sentient, who do you think would win?
I'm curious (and forgive me if this has been answered before), but is there a reason why the effects of a given crystal incantation seem to be somewhat random? For example, "Crystal Offensia" (I hope I've spelt that correctly) varies between firing a sustained burst of needle-like projectiles, and a single larger blast. My assumption is that the words define the category of the spell, and the will of the caster determines the precise effect, but I would like to have a definite answer.
At first, we wanted to have one incantation for one effect, like in most anime or Harry Potter, for instance. However, we kind of messed up at writing and staging, and ended up with the same incantation having multiple effects, or several different incantation having the same effect.
What’s canon now, to fix this mistake, it that spells works by “categories” :
- Offensive spells, like “Crystal Offensio”, “Crystal Colidum”, “Crystal Retrosum” (three “ranged attack” whose effect can varie), Crystempactus (a “contact attack”), or “Ateruina” (aerial/ranged Attack for the baddies) and “Telanoc” (ground/ranged attack and crystal barrier atttack for the baddies)
- Defensive spells, like “Crystarmum” (creating a defensive wall) and “Crysta-Tectus” (shield spell)
- Detection spells, like “Crystalocum” (locating someone in need of assistance) or “Crysta Locum Ostendere” (locating someone thanks to one item)
- Invocation spells, like “Crysta Ferocis” (Talia summoning a Light Crystal Bear) or “Aterodere” (for the baddies)
- Healing/Counter spells, like “Crystal Solvenda”
- Team Offensive Spells, like “Crystal Luxtra” (3 princesses) “Crystal Quinta” (5 princesses)… or “Truncolus” (for the baddies) !
What really matter as the person who cast the spell wants to happen, and she’ll “shape” the spell for that. Words help to shape, but are not absolute, not in our universe. They’re more like “a guide” now.

It’s worth noting that Battleborn was actually announced before Overwatch, by either a fortnight or a month (I forget which). It also revealed gameplay before Overwatch.

Thank you for your reply about transgender people in the military. you think of women in combat should qualify based on mens standards, right? Do you think women in combat are at greater risk for capture, torture, s3xual violence?
I think a soldier should qualify based on soldiers standards. If they can’t keep up, if they can’t ruck their weight (which often times is a problem due to basic biology) then they shouldn’t be in combat roles because it will effect combat ability of the unit as a whole. If they can manage that, or if specialized roles (helo pilot, scout sniper, etc) require different physical abilities, they should be put into those roles and utilized to the best of those abilities.
Physical violence of captured people is probably pretty constant overall, though my knowledge on the subject is a bit loose; and any sexual violence would be based on the captor.

The vote was held. The majority wanted to leave. Would there be such a call for a second vote if the opposite occurred?
If it is true that it can be rejected, then surely there is no reason to hold a second vote anyway.
I voted remain, just so you know. I'm just not a sore loser.

GUYS. THIS IS IMPORTANT. The petition calling for a second referendum based on the fact that the leave vote lacked a majority of 60% has crashed because of how many people are signing!! The petition only required 100,000 signatures to be put to parliament. THE REFERENDUM IS NOT LEGALLY BINDING. Which means there is a chance we can change this. PLEASE when the site is back up sign the petition. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE OVER 18. LET YOUR VOICES BE HEARD THROUGH THIS BECAUSE THEY WEREN’T LISTENED TO IN THE FIRST PLACE. Parliament has to consider the second referendum for debate. The more signatures, the harder it’ll be for them to ignore. It isn’t much but it is worth a try.
Please sign it! IT IS BACK UP NOW https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/131215

I have been looking for a good way to carry an extra mag for my cz when I am in the woods. I could have bought a pouch, but I prefer leather over everything else. Now that the edges are burnished and it has a coat of oil it looks much better. "Passports for Pets" actually originates from the British "Monster Raving Loony" Party. They had it as a part of one of their Manicfestos (which I thoroughly recommend reading. They should be available online if you search for them), and it somehow managed to get through.

London mayor bans ‘unrealistic body images’ from TFL ads - Business Insider
Remember when that high school invited all female students to wear a hijab for a day to, ostensibly, walk a mile in the shoes of their Muslim classmates? How tone deaf was that, right? I mean you’ve got a religion that is constantly deflecting “bigoted claims” that they mean to convert the whole world, and you think it’s a good idea to more or less fuel that exact fire with such a poorly conceived initiative?
The only thing dumber than that would be for a newly elected Muslim mayor of one of the largest cities in the entire world to almost immediately turn around and ban ads that show off the female body.
-E*, Reddit
Some people argued that this may be the fault of Labour, which the Mayor belongs to. Nonetheless, bad optics.
I’m sure the model would be glad to know that her actual body is unrealistic.
Strict vegan Renee, who likes to post reams of pictures of herself in a variety of bikinis and lingerie on Instagram, told the Huffington Post: “I am a real person behind the image. I work very hard and live a healthy and active lifestyle which is why the company chose me for their campaign.
I couldn’t work every day as a full-time model by starving myself, dieting or not looking after my body. Nourish your body, be kind to it and it will love you right back, no matter your size.
Or not.
