What’s insane too is that the infectious disease of “put conventionally “attractive” people all over products so everyone will associate that/being So Pretty with our product” still applies, so the before and after are just Very Conventionally “Attractive” Person With Near Perfect Skin becomes Very Conventionally “Attractive” Person With Slightly Blurry and Creepily Smooth Skin. It’s so fucking weird and ridiculous. What is the point. You can’t even be near visually “perfect” and be considered “perfect” enough.

I think I am done trying to moralize about this as well. I am just prone to not liking people I guess. I have high and very specific standards, and it isn’t like I consider people I dislike to be inherently flawed or bad. I’m sure they’re fine, unless I explicitly have a reason to think otherwise behind disliking them.

It would seem my mother’s estimation of me was correct. I do dislike people, just in general

#Recently (as in the past couple of years) I have been making attempts at ‘getting out of my comfort zone’ and trying certain things #Including going out and drinking socially and attempting to be more social in general #And it turns out I was right. I just don’t like many of the things people are expected to I guess #I am coming to terms with this more. I guess I just wanted it to be easier. It isn’t like I don’t want friends. But I can’t force myself to #like people or enjoy their company or trust them or want to open up to them if even after I have unpacked all the reasons I may feel that #way I am left with simple things I cannot change or control. Beyond that I will never be an easy person to stay with long term even as a #friend. You have to actually want to engage with and take initiative with me. #I don’t go out or really enjoy a lot of activities meant for multiple people. I deal poorly with spontaneity and have a lot of requirements #for actually being somewhere in order for it to be accessible/tolerable at best much less comfortable or even enjoyable #Why choose me to hang out with when you can have someone else without all of the extra work right. So if I am just not worth it to people I #suppose that’s just how it is. It kills me how little people are willing to do for you even when you try to make yourself as small and #without needs or wants as possible. I am sick of making myself suffer for stupid and pointless reasons.
