Tomorrow will be a week without the crew of the PerAspera. I am unreasonably attached to these characters and miss them horribly. Huge thanks to the crew of Rolling With Difficulty. You are amazing people. Whatever you decide to do next, your listeners will be listening with love.

I have so many thoughts on the Rolling With Difficulty campaign finale.

found out about the rooster teeth shut down not too long ago, and honestly, it just fucking sucks.

i'm not the only one i've seen that it's been a while since i kept up with their stuff, and especially with the many controversies they've had, and the issues they've had getting their main series greenlit, it's not surprising that they're finally meeting their end.

it really and truly sucks that so many people have lost their jobs, and that the many projects they've worked on may end up lost because warner bros does not seem like the type to keep their stuff around.

i don't really know what else to say, but damn it's frustrating.

dungeon meshi is so fucking awesome because you can tell that ryoko kui is having immense fun with her OCs. i saw a post a while back that was like "it's easy to forget that all of these manga characters are essentially the mangaka's OCs but for dungeon meshi you can really tell" and it's so true bc you REALLY really can....ryoko kui pours so much of her fondness for her characters into her work and puts them into little situations and dresses them up and delves into her universe in a way that feels very familiar to anyone who's ever been really invested into their OCs i think :) the urge to play with your OCs like dolls...to flesh out their world in mundane details that absolutely nobody but you would think of at first......thank you ryoko kui for your service

figuring out how to destroy a bridge. wish it was real so i could just crush it with my hands.

#he has spoken #im still working on the last drawing #i keep making a motion with my hands to crush it like a soda can #as if physically doing so will make it true in the drawing #i could use something like the liquify tool #but im not familiar enough with it to do it right #plus i think the slower i work on this bridge the more rugged i can get it to look #after that ill just have some foliage and a couple smaller bg things #and ill have lines all done #i wasn't going to do lines #but i started with riardon #and i liked how he looked with lines #and the rest is shaping up well with them #idk if lineless would have made the bridge easier #i just know i should probably practice drawing buildings and other perspective tool drawing stuff #once more i realize i need to practice bg stuff

failed last years resolution of trying to post one art a month, how about we aim smaller, one week of this year, im going to try to post something creative everyday, probably a drawing, but who knows.
