"Don't we already? Most likely not the way people think about it. They have a different idea of what it means to be in one another's company because their mortality constrains their reach. For example, I am in the constant presence of my siblings because I can feel their influence all around me. We can speak in letters or through our actions—across time and space—and it is the same as if we were 'sitting in the same room' so to speak. For as long as I am, those who I cherish are with me."
