I have a take, but I’m extremely unqualified for it so if it’s a weird take, that’s why

I feel like in media, when someone comes out, gay, bi, whatever, they tend to be like “yeah I’ve known forever, just didn’t want to tell anyone”.

But in my experience, people often realize later In their lives. I just feel like there’s not as much representation for that, for thinking you’re straight and not realizing you aren’t until you’re grown.

And in my completely unqualified opinion, that makes the whole thing with 911 great.

Buck was a straight man his whole life, but he discovered he wasn’t, and is able to have those experiences even though it’s late in his life

Anyway as I said: extremely unqualified, I am both straight and have never seen 911 and hadn’t heard of it until it was trending on tumblr with Destiel so…

the bon jovi scene from the season 3 finale still makes me cry sorry. sam's like okay so you know how you're about to fucking die and dean's like haha I veto this emotional moment shhhh we're not talking about it. instead I offer you bon jovi masculinity cowboy song! and sings along for JUST LONG ENOUGH that sam laughs and relaxes and starts singing too and then Dean stops singing. drops the show. eyes on the road. we the viewer realize that was just smoke and mirrors special effects for sam's benefit. to make him smile. and distract him. to give him one last good memory. we the viewer know this but. Sam doesn't. he's still singing.

I hate almost every one of my obsessions

Like yes, it’s my favorite thing ever, all that I think about, constantly in my brain, makes me giggle, fulfills me, sucks me in with a vengeance, and is all that matters to me but…

I also hate it and rarely rewatch/read it or whatever because of tiny parts that make me seethe or because it doesn’t have every trope I ever want or it doesn’t have enough angst or it doesn’t have enough fluff and it’s not perfect

they couldn't let cesar and jesse return bc they would've taken one look at dean and cas interacting and known they had it bad for each other

the craziest thing about the mixtape is it sets up a precedent, we had no idea dean gave it to him because it didn't happen onscreen, we only knew about it because we saw castiel trying to return it.

so how many other gifts may dean have given castiel that he just kept?? whose gifting or returning wasn't crucial to the main plot and so we didn't get to see??

how many destiel scenes happened offscreen during all those years?? another example of this is them watching tombstone. so many little throwaway lines or moments here and there that basically confirm that for as much insane couple behavior we saw onscreen, there was a whole other level of offscreen insanity going on
