A Cone Destiny
Lilly woke up. She jolted out of her new brass bed. She couldn’t stand Suzanne Cone. She hated the cone family. Lilly always remembered Suzzane’s boyfriend Collin. She hated the way Collin looked at Suzzane’s best friend Kani. Kani was Lilly’s best friend anyway. Lilly hated Collin even though every time he looked at her she felt as light as air. “It isn’t love..” Lilly would say. As though trying to convince herself rather then convince others. Suzzane’s head was the shape of a cone. Lilly’s whole campus knew that Collin had a cone fetish. He wrote cone fan fiction. How did Lilly know this? She was part of the info club at her college. Lilly wanted to become a part time journalist when she was older. She knew that was the only part of her adulthood she would enjoy. Lilly hated every thing about being a teenager, she hated being in college. She hated everything. Well.. except for Kani. Kani would defend her. Kani would help her. She loved Kani. But in a different way than Collin. Lilly admired her. Kani was her only joy. Her only friend. Kani could never understand how Lilly felt. She couldn't and wouldn't. Lilly could barely even describe her own feelings for Kani.
