IS HEATHCLIFF/ISHMAEL A VALID SHIP.

I started shipping them in like Canto IV but I feel weird about myself after Canto VI but NGL Cathy seems less like a viable love interest and more of a plot point and an important beat in Heathcliff's backstory (you could argue the same for Queequeg too but also he's dead)

I think their pairing is interesting and they work well together in the sense of "they hate each other but their obsession on each other doubles back to romantic feelings"

But also I took a screenshot of every notable shipping moment in Canto VI and only found like 10— I think it's just over but I'm never letting this shit go

Best example I could find— their experiences mirror each other in some regards so seeing the other make their same mistakes makes them angry

They just have good personality chemistry in general. Even platonically they're silly.

I noticed a lot of complaints about that one Library of Ruina review (here's the review in question btw: https://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/switch-eshop/library-of-ruina) and thought I'd weigh in my take.

What we really need to consider is the point of view of someone who hasn't had any experience with project moon: would they think to consider how much would change over the course of the story? If you've only played 5 hours, would you be able to see the charm that lies in later, more difficult combat stages? I think not. So here's my list of concessions so that my very good pal Charlie Wacholz can have a chance.

The UI is small — but I mean, isn't it???? It was ported from PC after all. It's more of a statement than a criticism as there are things to be done to avoid this (i.e. dock the switch)

Menus are laggy — AREN'T THEY???? It's the switch, after all. To be fair, my perspective might be warped here because I played Jump Force so any menu that takes less than 10 minutes to load looks pretty good to me

The story is lackluster — once again, I'll chalk this up to being early in the story. I can't help but wonder if he just skimmed it since he calls Roland a "street thug" and Angela a "custodian" but this can also simply be because he was missing context that was given later in the game, or in Lobotomy Corp.

Rushed cutscenes — most of the early cutscenes are short as hell though.

Expendable cast — okay ykw? This is sort of fair

While I may not agree with some of his takes, I think it's important to consider his point of view before making a judgement on his character.

Anyways my post today is a PSA actually, to one of my favorite series, Bibliomania. It was a short webcomic AND I ADORE IT. Like body horror squared and the ending is very silly

I think most people got the wrong idea when they saw this one edit someone made that shifts the narrative of the story by not adding the final chapters, but no spoilers so I get it.

Short synopsis? This girl named Alice gets sucked into this book thing and she wants out but in order to get there, she has to go through like ~400 rooms but for every room she goes through, the more her body deteriorates. These rooms all reflect the guest inside and their desires and wishes. Will she make it back to reality?
