Kind of hilarious to me how poorly the title "Mob Psycho 100" localized to English-speaking areas. To someone whose first language is English, it scans as:

Mob (Yakuza, Mafia)

Psycho (violent person with "crazy" behaviors)

Thus: a particularly violent member of organized crime.

But in Japanese it scans as:

Mob (background characters in crowd scenes in manga or anime)

Psycho (short for psychic)

Thus: a psychic who looks/acts like someone you'd never pick out of a crowd scene in a comic.

do you ever hear people talking about something and you’re like. fuck. let me be real for a second. i’m too much of a commie to have this conversation

#I feel that last one from back before I came out/realised I was trans #my mother is very progressive in a number of ways #but there’s always gonna be influence from your childhood and your own experiences that you impart upon the next gen #and one of hers was trying to tell me I needed to shave #back when I first started growing hair in places other than my head she showed me how to shave my legs #but I didn’t want to. She also showed me how to shave my pits but again I didn’t want to #I would because generally (and never harshly enforced or whatever but still) she would want me to #but esp shaving my pits sucked because there’d be too much hair to do it all in one sweep and also it’s an awkward angle etc etc #all of that kind of jazz. And then I transitioned and I really like being hairy #so I never shave. And though pit hair can be v uncomfortable in certain outfits or under my binders I still like it #and also suddenly the (even mild) pressure to shave is gone #so #because I’m viewed masc by her I no longer need to shave by her standards #*shrug* #she’ll still tease me by saying I should shave when I say some pit hair specifically is pulling but it’s always in jest #anyways that’s my two cents

My one friend group can't stop saying, "See you in hell!" in a cheerful voice instead of, "Talk to you later!" and my other friend group can't stop calling things "penis" instead of "cool" or "good", so I just unironically uttered the phrase, "Sounds penis, see you in hell," as I got off the phone.
