Before s2 finale of TBB I started a series of arts of Crosshair getting much needed hugs from his siblings.. After s3 trailer I finally found the inspiration to finish them.. They are definitely canon divergent at this point but who cares, he needs it, and so do I :')

I've been switching back and forth between writing my fics (now a combined 100k words!!) and making little illustrations for them to brush up on my drawing skills. I now have a sketchbook devoted entirely to Bad Batch fanart, yikes. Anyways, the big thing I'd change about this if I could would be to make Crosshair's hand larger. The background was unplanned. I didn't like the empty white space, so I gave it rain and waves because this is a scene where everyone's favorite sniper gets back to Coruscant from his 32 rotations on Kamino. This is colored pencil on paper.

Oh, and the weird bloom around her hair is just because my camera hates reds. Photographing traditional art is ugh.

I really hope he gets to be happy at least a little bit in season 3. He so deserves it.
