Well my queue has run dry and I’m bored, so I’m going on hiatus. Maybe I’ll be back, maybe I won’t.

39-“I wanna know everything about you.” Tokka

Sokka sat forward, resting his elbows on the bar top as he grinned down at the lovely woman beside him. She was an interesting one.

“Wanna ditch this place?”

Toph raised an eyebrow, a smirk twisting her lips. She teased, “And what for?”

“Well. I wanna know everything about you, Toph. Let’s get out of here and go on a date. A real one.”

She seemed to evaluate him for a moment. “Alright. There’s a quieter diner around the corner.”

Sokka resisted the urge to fist bump into the air.

She finished her whiskey and slammed it on the counter before raising a finger to his face. “You better be paying though.”

As a result, the store employees and a few customers become trapped in the store overnight. Among these customers are Azula and Sokka, former friends with benefits with a tumultuous history.

Hi Twinkles! I hope your day has been okay :) I've been thinking about Lin and Suyin accidentally calling Sokka, "Dad", and I was wondering if you possibly share your thoughts on that topic :D

Hello there, Moon Moon! I hope you're doing okay, too, and that it's been a good week for you so far <3

I love this so much and it's something that I've thought about and written about on occasion as well hehe.

When it comes to Lin, specifically, I think this would be a huge thing for Lin, Sokka, and Toph. In the case that Bestie Kanto dies when she's too young to remember him or before she's born (I favor the latter scenario) and Sokka is always there, it might just literally slip out on accident as if it's the most natural thing in the world. But then, she'll catch herself and go red-faced and stammer a bit, trying to figure out how to apologize to him. Then, there's Sokka, who hears it but doesn't necessarily believes he heard it, so he just stands there for a second, trying to process what Lin just said while Toph's doing the same. And while, yes, she's shocked, she also saw it coming considering close he and Lin were and how he'd always been there for her and such.

Eventually, Sokka approaches her and tells her that no apology is necessary and if she feels the need to call him "Dad," she could and he would be honored to step into the hard-to-fill shoes because no one will ever be able to take Kanto's place. They hug, they all have a moment, and later on, when Tokka are alone, Sokka gets a bit emotional and spills his guts to Toph lol

When it comes to Su, this could go two ways, I think, depending on whether or not we see her being Sokka's biologically or not. If she is, he just- he's over the moon about it. Like, imagine if it's her first word. He wouldn't stop bragging about it to anyone, especially Toph lmao. It's something he'd consider one of his greatest accomplishments lol. However, if she's not biologically his, I think his reaction would be similar to the one he had to Lin, but slightly different. The difference, I think, would come in the way he approaches the situation bc obviously, her father isn't in the picture anymore for whatever reason, so he would definitely say that if she's okay with calling him "Dad," then she should by all means; he would love nothing more than to be her father, be that male figure that she seems to be looking for.

A modern au where the Gaang+Azula, Mai & Tylee attends a Halloween party. Aang dressed up as Ikkaku Madarame while Katara decided to be Elsa. Toph unexpectedly came in a Buttercup costume which makes Tylee very happy who is by the way wearing Sailor Moon's uniform. Zuko with a Todoroki look arrived side by side with Mai in a Yumeko Jabami fit. Moments later Suki and Sokka joined them. Suki dress as Mikasa while Sokka proudly parade his Leon Kennedy outfit when suddenly Azula barged in to the door wearing an outfit Sokka recognized all too well, he can't be wrong that girl is dress up as Ada Wong. Azula didn't notice Sokka at first the moment she reached them, while almost all of the Gaang were silent cause they know the connection Ada & Leon have, when Toph decided to break the ice "Damn, Spicy I didn't know you and Meathead will wear a couple outfit for Halloween" and that's when Azula saw Sokka. They started to argue about who should change their outfit because they both don't want other people in the party think they're pair. Both accusing the other copying ideas. The next day rumors about Azula and Sokka dating spread in the school like a wildfire.
